I fell in love with the Sazerac cocktail the first time I was in New Orleans almost 10 years ago, but I haven't tasted anything like that first experience. I read that The Chandelier Bar makes THE BEST sazerac, but I couldn't take anyone's word for it... I had to try the cocktail for myself. Verdict is that their Sazerac was the best I've ever had. My fiance and I stopped by at The Chanedlier Bar inside the Four Seasons around 1:30pm on a Thursday. I wasn't surprised that the place wasn't super busy during this late lunch hour, yet the busyness picked up an hour after we sat down. The bar was stunning. The main center piece was the giant chandelier, of course, but the overall layout and decor dripped in elegance. Service was excellent. Zach was our amazing bartender. He was personable, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about cocktail history. Fun conversationalist. I started with a French 75, and my fiance had a sazerac. Their cocktails were a notch above the rest due to their attention to detail. The French 75, which can be typically made with prosecco, was made with real champagne, for example. Zach made us 2 other cocktails, including the Ramos Gin Fizz and the Amchur Lusianne. Ramos Gin Fizz is my all-time favorite drink, and Zach made it with love. The Amchur Lusianne was like a clarified milk punch. It had a fruity mango forward taste and then the bitters (i.e. hops) hit you towards the back of the mouth. Very unique flavor! I really enjoyed it.

Had the Chandelier Bar on my list of places to visit for a while. Finally went with two friends in December. For a luxury establishment, I was disappointed. The table was dirty and I had to ask the waitress to clean it off. To which she walked off with an attitude. 10 minutes later, a party next to us was being seated and that waiter proceeded to wipe off their table. I asked him to please wipe of our table as well, to which he hesitated at first. Then decided to wipe of down as it was sticky and had visible brown drink spots on it. Our Drinks were good albeit the service is severely lacking for such an established. Not sure if I would go back.

Simply beautiful! I came here after having dinner at Nobu in Caesars across the street. I asked the bartender to make me a lemon drop and it was one of the best I've ever had. The drinks will run you about $20 each but this is a nice bar to lounge in. There is live music on Sunday evenings which is a nice added touch.

I went here for the first time today and really enjoyed myself. The bartenders were really nice and friendly. I only had a lemon drop but it was one of the best I've had. I loved how it looked in there. Very nice and classy.

Impeccable service and ambience. There were a few bozos who were not appropriately dressed. This should be strictly enforced with the utmost urgency. Otherwise, all was a five-star experience.

This spot is so festive- elegant setting, easy vibe, great people watching, fantastic crudités (my latest obsession) and a yummy crisp, dry Sancerre (pictured) for ya to enjoy pre or post next adventure in NOLA. Service was of course perfection coming from the Four Seasons Service School - as I like to call wherever it is all the employees get their manners and decorum from. Have fun!

There's a lot of hotels in New Orleans, and that means there's a lot of hotel bars to discover, but for your sake, make sure to add The Chandelier Bar to that list. I've only had drinks here during the day, so I can't speak to the nightlife version, but each afternoon visit has been relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent serious cocktails. It's not cheap, and it's not casual, but it's a great bar if you bring the right expectations. Will report back once I've stopped by in the evening.

We were in the area and stopped for a quick bite and cocktail. Upon entering, we weren't sure what to do. Should we seat ourselves or did we need to wait? No one was eager to help up so we stood there a while before one of the staff told us that we could sit anywhere. We didn't see a server in sight, so we waited some more.... We finally ordered Pickled Crab Claws and Pimento Grilled Cheese. I should have asked about the crab claws because they were served cold and the flavor wasn't that great. The grilled cheese was really yummy! I can't remember the name of the cocktail but it tasted pretty good. I was hoping this would be a quick visit but it took a lot longer than expected because service was slow the entire time.

The Chandelier Bar at the Four Seasons is STUNNING. Go have a cocktail at night and see the views of the water. It is GORGEOUS. The cocktails aren't bad either!
