Wow Super nice place Good for a small to medium size reception Bar is super long and able to serve quicklyFood is good Especially the shrimp and grits Champagne was bubbly Red wine was smooth I could write more but I'm gonna go eat and drink and enjoy myself

Went there for New Years Eve last night. 4 of us at a table. Nice place but the meal was sub par. Prime rib was overdone and there were no knives available to cut it. Asked the people serving the buffet line and their only response was "no knives". I asked why there were no knives and their response was "no knives". The evening turned out pretty good though because of who I was with. The band was good and their female singers were great. The other guests were very friendly and were having fun on the dance floor. Come on man, how difficult is it to have knives available at an event like this? We'll be looking for something else next year.

The Cannery has to be one of the most beautiful venues in the New Orleans area. I had the opportunity to visit on April 8, 2016 while attending my brother best friend's wedding reception. Parking: Offers handicapped, street, and private lot parking for your convenience. The venue: Spacious enough to accommodate a large wedding party and guest list comfortably. The staff ensured that the restrooms and dining area stayed cleaned and attended to guests as needed. In between admiring the venue and dancing until my feet were sore I did have a chance to grab something to eat...The food: I enjoyed the bbq shrimp and cheddar grits and many of the other specialty dishes and appetizers. The food was absolutely delicious and filling!Thank you making Darin and Mallory Carter's wedding a memorable night for the newlyweds and their guests. We truly enjoyed ourselves!

The Warehouse Sale by ALG Style was having an event there. My second time there. I like the layout of the building. This is a really great place to rent for a reception party, birthday, wedding, concert and etc. There are plenty of street parking and also parking across the street.

I came here for a company party on two different occasions for two different companies. The space is gorgeous and can fit a lot of people. I can't speak to cost of the venue, but if you had a big wedding and needed a nice reception space then this place is a great option. The food they served was hot and tasty, both of the times I visited. They have parking across the street which was great.

This is a nice girls day outing. You can find some great deals on clothing and accessories. Don't bring kids or husbands nothing for them and you won't want to be rushed. Definitely worth checking out.

I went to The Cannery for an event last night and was surprised I had never heard of this place. The venue is beautifully done, with gorgeous lighting an chic white couches in certain areas. They did offer a valet service, but parking was easy and right across the street. There was ample parking for this event, but I can imagine it possibly being a problem if a bunch more people were there. An open bar was provided or you could pay cash if you didn't want the well drinks. I opted for the free drinks, and must say the quality of the well drinks was the lowest I've ever seen. The food was slightly below average. Unfortunately, the fish and chicken had a rubbery texture. I'm assuming they were overcooked. The salad, potatoes and asparagus were all good. I didn't try the desserts, but my friend did. She said the chocolate cookie was very dry. Overall, I would recommend booking this venue for an event. However, I would be clear on expectations regarding the quality of the food (hence the reason for my 3 star review).

Everything at the hall is extremely rushed and barely professional. The worker Melissa who over saw everything was very rude to the people who booked their wedding and the entire wedding party. They did not serve the wedding cake at all and were rushing guest out the wedding. The open bar has severely watered drinks. Was not worth the price.

The Zemke/Cucinello FamilyI never write reviews, but I just had to in this case. My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was Saturday night. With Covid, we had to change venues at the last minute. The Cannery took us under their wing and gave us a truly beautiful experience. Their attention to detail is amazing!! What a blessing in disguise!! We truly loved everything about the Cannery, the staff, the food, the parking... Thank You for such a beautiful evening!!!
