The Batterina

Been buying from The Batterina for YEARS. She's always consistent. I put these cheesecakes against any of the 5-star restaurant ones, and I've had a lot of cheesecake over the years. Hers are rich but not overpowering and perfectly solidified. Put one in a freezer and it's almost like an ice cream-cheesecake dessert. Joanna and her mother have always been friendly! Really sweet people with a sweet talent. I know where to go when I want a cheesecake!

Delicious cheesecake, probably the best in the city, but at $11 per slice (at Nola Munchies) , you pay more than a spectacular dessert at a 5 star restaurant.

Terrible customer service. Will never do any type of business here again. Waited in a long line for my order that I had made and paid in advance. They were filling orders as people came in. Total bush league business. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left. Pretty much tossed my order at me, no sorry for your wait. Not even thank you for your business. To top it off, their tray is so flimsy, half fell off the tray. I always buy local but stay far away from these unprofessional, rude people. They do not deserve your business. Funny thing is, they could have gotten a ton of business from me. Instead, I will tell everyone to stay away.
