Great, wee gallery that operates in the front parlor of half of a double shotgun in the Bywater. The tall ceilings and the fun aquarium in the old fireplace (fire to water) make it a lovely space to view art.I was there on a show opening night so there were beverages for sale on the side porch and the small space was packed! Love to see people showing up for art.As others have mentioned, this gallery is not handicap accessible as there are about 5 steps up into the space.

While you are wandering around the neighborhood looking at Dr Bob's art and stuff, you should text the number on the flier I am posting here to see this gallery. It is NOT handicapped accessible in its current form at all. But, they are operating on donations only, so give them $$ to get a larger place and more art work. This is a fun quirky little place in the Marigny. Street parking only. Just lovely and odd.

This is one of the best galleries to show off your newly bedazzled skinny jeans and velvet cummerbunds. It gets it's name from the tiny aquarium in one of the rooms. You have to look for it to see it, else you might get distracted by the giant triceratops head or the window full of neckties. A must-see for bywater!

This is a great gallery and studios where they do gallery nights (often on Second Saturdays) and open studio days. The Bywater Museum of Unnatural History is also housed here and it is super cool. A tiny little museum of dioramas, taxidermy, and oddities. They even have one of Liza Minnelli's cigarettes! They're open Sundays 3 to 5, which is an odd time, but it's an odd place so it works! They also do by appointment and groups. Very cool and you should check it out!
