The Alibi

We popped in here after learning that Deanie's had a 1 hour 45 minute minimum wait! I am so glad we stopped here. It's nondescript, most walk on by because it's another shotgun style hole in the wall New Orleans bar. Let me tell you, if you walk by, you're missing out on a stellar shrimp po' boy that is not as expensive as other places in the Quarter. Overstuffed, fried to perfection, juicy bits, that glorious crusty soft French bread, fully dressed. Delightful.The bartender was fun and friendly and the beer prices super reasonable. Plus, it provided us with an alibi for why we weren't waiting in line at Deanie's with others!

Hubbers, Big Bro and I wanted to explore for after dinner drinks! So many choices but we ended up here somehow. Didn't want anything heavy, so I went for the hurricane. Quite refreshing especially for a warm and humid NOLA night. Servers were nice and friendly. It's a pretty chill, no nonsense place. A good start for a night of exploring!

2 draft beers and 2 shots of Jamo. was 47!?! As a local, I try to duck off and support side street bars where more locals go but I was shocked and definitely would not tell anyone to go there for a "dive bar" feel because of prices

After a experiencing Bourbon St we were trying to decide if we wanted a second wind then doing another round on the street or if we wanted to pack it in. I worked up an epic pep talk that had us decide on hitting up a side street and finding a small quiet bar until we felt we were ready for another round up and down the street.We ended up looking into The Alibi. I can't tell if it's going for the dive bar feel or not. We decided this was the place for us to grab a few drinks and just kick back. The bartender was super friendly and from what I remember, the drinks were pretty cheap as well. We had a bunch of drinks and in no time we were on our way to experience another round and more importantly later round of Bourbon St

Jalapeño poppers were not good. Bartender wasn't very nice. Lots of rules. Okay ambience.

We didn't have any food here. The drinks were good but the bathrooms are nasty. Men's are worse than women's

I had a vodka cran with no vodka. 10.00, do not recommend. A "Dive" label should have qualifications... like actual liquor in cheap drinks. Just sayin...

My husband and I came last night and it was one of our favorite bars when we lived here. Ms Cat recommended the alibi burger which did not disappoint and made me the best cocktail ever. We love her personality and we follow her wherever she is in New Orleans and she always SO sweet! Alibi got a winner and we will be coming back now every trip! Love the vibes and also Ms Cat's energy is absolutely amazing!!!!!

if you want to get money out of the Atm it's only 100 dollars at a time and they charge 6.00 dollars for it. the bartender women during the weekend is a wet rag, says nothing .to the customers , no personality!!!!

Very nice little spot with great service. I didn't try the food but the Jell-O shots are top notch. Great specials Cristian was amazing! She was very personable and engaging. Thank you Cristian for an awesome time and great recommendations for food!!
