Thai Hay NOLA is incredible! The combination of Thai and Creole flavors is so unique, and everything we ordered was incredible.We started with Thai iced tea, and I got mine with salted coconut cream, which was amazing--the creaminess balanced the tea perfectly. Even the water infused with pandan leaves was a nice touch, adding a subtle, refreshing flavor.For appetizers, we had the fried tofu and fried lotus root, and while we paid extra for the peanut sauce, it was totally worth it. For entrees, we got the short rib khao soi and the catfish red curry with pumpkin--both were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.The service was fantastic--Misty and Mae were so warm and welcoming. The restaurant has such a great vibe, perfect for both a casual night out with friends or a date night. Just a heads-up: reservations are a good idea since the space is limited.10/10 experience--I'll definitely be back!

Probably the best meal my boyfriend and I have had during our visit in NOLA!Our server, Jeremy, was great. Seems like he really enjoys his time there. I was a little skeptical at first because every dish looks like it was all for show. NO! It was also packed with lots of flavor. An elevated experience for sure. The dipping sauce for each appetizers were, legit, made from scratch and oh-so-yummy!Our favorite was the frog legs. Highly recommend.

Crowded spot the night before the snow-pacolypse and well worth a (potential) last meal Staff was attentive, food was delicious and generous enough portioned, and atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Come for unique Thai dishes that are more upscale than you'll typically get at traditional restaurants :)

Awesome Thai place in the heart of the Quarter. We were able to sit outside at a last minute reservation and they have an entire vegan menu -- but it's only available on Fridays! I got the tofu soup which was cool to see presented to me. The tofu satay was also really good for an appetizer! Drinks are on the sweeter side. The desserts were all vegan and it was delicious!

The menu is traditional Thai food but with more of a modern twist. They serve pandan-infused water which I thought was a really nice touch, it complemented the food very well. I also ordered a virgin old fashioned as I don't usually see that on mocktail menus and it had a lovely flavor profile. We got tofu satay for a starter to share, we liked the peanut sauce and salad that came with it (good to note that they also have multiple vegan options on their menu). For mains, we got the khao soi chicken and the ribeye pad Thai. It is more expensive than the usual Thai spot but that's because the food is a little more upscale. That being said, both entrees were delicious and made for a good dinner. I would recommend booking a reservation here as the space is small and can tend to fill up quick. The service otherwise is pretty quick and friendly. If you're looking for something outside of Cajun and Creole cuisine in the French Quarter, I would recommend checking this place out.

One of finest Thai restaurants I have ever visited. This is such a gem in the French quarters. I tried the fried okra and slow braised beef with ramen. Both were outstanding. The pistachio cheesecake was amazing too.

If you ever asked me if I thought I could become obsessed with Thai food, I would have said no way, but here I am, fantasizing about when I will return to Thaihey for my next fix. Now I love love love Thai food and have for a long time but this is mind-blowingly delicious and innovative Thai food, an artform, if you will. NOLA has its fare share of good Thai, but Thaihey is literally the best that I've ever had. And they have an entire vegan menu, in addition to their meats and seafood. Bring everyone you know because they will all be accommodated here, yes, even those who are both GF and vegan.I was undecided with literally everything: appetizers, entrees and cocktails because there were a lot of things tempting me. My friend and I shared the tofu satay, which is deep fried slices of tofu and an accompanying savory/sweet/very spicy satay sauce. I am currently lamenting over the fact that this sauce isn't waiting for me in my fridge so that I may pour it over everything I eat. I followed that with the Khao Soi Tofu, Thai hot of course, and I have to say I've never had anything like it before. It is phenomenal, a texture party (love the crunchy soy bits alongside the soft tofu and lotus roots) and has sensational flavor. The spice level was hot but not to the point where I couldn't taste every flavor note. So you see how much I loved the Khao Soi. But with one bite of my friend's pumpkin curry, I fell deeply in love. It is extraordinary, luscious, and weep-worthy. I may or may not be planning to go again within a week to eat this. The cocktail list is very unique, a lot of my favorite things with a SE Asian twist (loved my Thai Mule and hope to try the sangria next time). Our service that night was perfection (you can tell the staff love working there and their recommendations are authentic). Ambiance is also lovely. Think intimate, not small, very atmospheric and zen-like. It feels like a special place but not so fancy that you can just come here on a whim.Thaihey is my latest #1 discovery in NOLA and I'll end this with a vow to return for pumpkin curry and dragonfruit sorbet, too.

Stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant as it was conveniently located next to the hotel I was staying at - what a wonderful dinner location.Ambiance: cozy, welcoming and hip. Great detail to everything from the decor to the water cups.Service: staff was phenomena and very kind. We arrived closer to the end of the day and we didn't have any reservations however they still accommodated us.Food: Delicious! It's almost a fusion between Thai and Southern cuisine- everything was full of flavor and delicious. Price point is on the higher side but so worth it.Recommendation: Make reservations in advance, it seems to get pretty busy at night.

Everything here is so nice. The warmth from the servers and the love put into the food, just phenomenal. I want to try everything on the menu. The presentation of the dishes when they come out is next level. This restaurant is just a work of art.

Amazing food, drink was in point and server Mrs. Misty amazing with great service. Coming back when I am back in New Orleans.
