Happen to see this place from the Hwy, stopped in, and OH my im glad I did!Lunch special is awesome, and huge portion. There is enough to feed 2, or split for dinner. Had the green curry with chicken and pork! So flavorful. It made my pallette tingle! Staff is so friendly and works in unisome! Worth the trip across the worlds longest bridge over water( the causeway over Lake Ponchartrain)

Hadn't been to Thai spice in a long time and I promised my daughter that we would go there to get her favorite, drunken noodles. On Mondays through Fridays, they give you a complementary soup and spring roll with a dipping sauce. I think the soup was hot and sour it was salty, but good, I got the red curry with chicken, which is my favorite thing to get there, but I also like their pad Thai and they're drunken noodles. I pretty much like all their curries there, but I was glad to find out that the food is still as good as I thought it used to be.

We had not visited Thai Spice in Covington for about a year, but my wife and I returned today for a weekday lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and the tasteful dining area was neat and tidy. I had the pepper steak and my wife had the traditional Pad Thai. Both were served with sweet and sour soup, and spring rolls. Although only modestly spicy, all were tasty. Thai Spice is well worth a visit.

Thai Spice: A Flavorful JourneyI passed by Thai Spice for a brief lunch since they didn't seem to be very busy. The building is located in a small store front on a side street. The restaurant was filled red tables that were adorned Asian art and architecture I ordered some Fresh Spring Rolls as an appetizer The soft spring rolls burst with freshness--crisp veggies, succulent shrimp, and a delightful plum-peanut sauce. A great start! While the beef pad thai was decent, it lacked that extra oomph. Perhaps a dash more flavor would elevate it.Unfortunately, our server seemed disengaged. A touch more attentiveness and personalized recommendations could elevate the experience.Overall: Thai Spice offers promise. With a little rapport-building, they could soar to new heights.

If I have the story right, there were two guys, partners in every sense of the word, that had a thai restaurant across the street from this location. Apparently, they had an argument and decided to separate. So, this guy decided to open a thai restaurant of his own...across the hwy. :) Looks like his menu was the best since he's still here and the original thai place now sells seafood dishes and a not-bad eggplant parm.Anyway, the food here is excellent even if the atmosphere was a little too commercial for my tastes. Petunia usually gets the Pad Thai, white girl spicy, while I almost always get the Panang Curry, extra spicy. I used to bet the chefs $20 they couldn't burn my mouth, but I felt guilty taking their money, ha ha ha! Just kidding, but I do like my curry excruciatingly hot.Again, excellent food here, make sure to try the Tom Kha while you're here, it's hard to beat that flavor combination for putting a smile on an epicurean's face.

The food is delicious & affordable, the portions are generous, the staff is friendly & service is speedy. The atmosphere is very sports bar like & small. TV's are usually playing UFC fighting when we have dined in. My husband liked, not so much my preference for a date night though. It's not a quaint place to have a dinner date IMO. It's also too small to really accommodate a large group of people (maybe okay on a slow week night)? We usually just get take out. Food is packaged well & doesn't leak, and always has what we order & includes sauces, utensils, napkins, etc.

This place is hands down one of my favorite places on the Northshore. Some of the freshest sushi I've eaten. Highly recommend visiting.
