Date of visit: December 20, 2024Stopped in here during a New Orleans Food Tour on Magazine Street and just loved this fun little space! I enjoyed much of the art and was appreciative of the background on the artist that the staff provided us during our visit. While the visit was very short, it left an impression on me and I still intend to purchase a copy of the From Nothing print as it would make a wonderful gift for my husband for an upcoming occasion. I wasn't in a position to purchase it right then and I need to wait for a sale as the tax and shipping add quite a bit to the price!

I was drawn in by the colorful art as we were strolling though the garden district. The gallery was inviting and my husband and I both loved the bright vivid colors. I appreciated that they allowed and encouraged pictures.

Such a wonderful stop during our "Bon Moment" tour, booked through Airbnb Experiences with Michelle. We were learning a lot about New Orleans culture, and eating (a lot), so adding in some very compelling local art was really a nice touch. I love Terrance Osborne's art. Since I don't live in NOLA, it's nice to have some art to bring home so I always have a little portal to one of my favorite cities. I am still trying to figure out what I love the most, (as well as what I can afford), but even the fact that I could consider purchasing some original artwork tells you that it is within the realm of possibility. This was a perfect stop on our tour, a break from eating, and a mind-expanding experience. I also have to say, I have never been in a gallery where the staff was this nice. There was not a moment of hesitation to let a big tour group in, and not even the slightest whiff of snobbery. So refreshing and I wish all galleries felt this welcoming. Needless to say, I will always try to stop in when I'm in town.

What the whaaa?! How did not I add this gallery to my "to-do" list while in NOLA. I'm so happy I stumbled across it and went in, while Terrance himself was manning the register. The art is gawwwgeous. I'm a local art fanatic, buying up loads of it in my current hometown of St Louis, but these pieces were a bit beyond my price range, and for good reason. They are amazing.Terrance was so nice, chatting with us for a good 15 minutes about all kinds of things. There's a reason he's been Artist of the Year and all kinds of other accolades in NOLA. I took his card, posted some pics of the gallery on Insta and Facebook (with immediate responses from friends wanting prints) and made my way to his website to add prints to my cart. Prints on the site range from $100-$450 or so and giclees are $1,000-$2,000. Only item TBD is one of my friends in Pittsburgh wants a print of his for her new salon. The website said the dreaded "sold out". She emailed him to see if there will be any more and I'm hoping he at least responds to her and maybe gets more soon! Fingers crossed.

After walking around the French Quarter for 2 days, we ventured over to the Garden District, and we're glad we did. We stumbled upon the Terrance Osborne Gallery (as we'd seen his work various other places previously). The gentleman working was incredibly polite and friendly - splitting his time between a woman shopping for several pieces to decorate her business and us, a couple just browsing. While we didn't walk out with several paintings we did pick up a beautiful print (Hurricane Solution #3)..had we had more money we'd have bought more!Beautiful art - bold colors, vivid designs and a friendly staff..well worth the visit.

I had to make it to this gallery to see the work and get a few pieces. Terrance is an incredible artist and Xavier graduate. You must have something in your personal collection. Each piece is unique to New Orleans culture and makes you feel good.

Stephanie is the best!!!Had a problem with shipping and she went above and beyond. I happened to be in town and was able to pick up my art from the gallery instead of reshipping. Highly recommended. Can't wait to add it to in my home. Thanks again!I've admire his art for a long time and now i have a home I can properly display this. Can't wait to send the pics!

SO. MUCH. COLOR!Walking into Terrance Osborne's gallery is like walking in to the middle of a Technicolor movie right out of the 1940's! All the color is why I have been a fan of Terrance's for years and I was so excited when I found out that he was opening a gallery on Magazine Street. When you walk in, you are surrounded by Terrance's unique works and life size paintings. My favorite thing about Terrance's art is how well he captures the culture of New Orleans and Louisiana in his work. Terrance and his wife Stephanie completely renovated the space and the light, art and details of the architecture come together perfectly in the space. The gallery is a "must see" for any art lover, and if you have the funds, you can purchase one of the paintings that would look good on any wall.
