Would give a zero if I could. One of the few "gas stations" left uptown, try to fill up and make purchases anywhere BUT HERE if possible. The counter staff, the female African American "manager" in particular, is VERY RUDE, and an obvious bigot. Quite simply, she is just NASTY to everyone, but her extreme level of disdain is reserved for white customers. Shop elsewhere if you can. There is a reason this Station/Wendy's/Store, with literally no competitors, is likely not very profitable for it's owners. After all, you make a little margin on gasoline sales. Most profit comes from food and even more from retail. With this "manager" no one really wants to shop here.Empty at "lunchtime", the two trucks were initially gas customers. On a positive note the cleaning/pump station maintenance man is as pleasant/friendly as the manager is rude.

My card got stuck in the gas pump, the clerk finally came out to assist the. Never gave me the card back and denied having it. Shop here at your own risk, you have been warned.

Pricey gas but only convenient since it's closest to me. If you're positively out of gas then go for it but if you have just a little that can get you to the next gas station, I would pass on to the next. It's connected to a Wendy's so that's one positive thing.

RUDE, employees. They'll yell at you an cause a whole scene if you don't say Goodmorning to them. Yet you can't hear them, especially over their phone that they are consistently on behind the counter.I will never stop here again. Pretty sad when i only live a block away. Id replace the employees before they ruin the business. My morning was certainly turned sour.

Gasoline is consistently more expensive here than any other place I frequent -- and not by 10 cents a gallon -- more like 30. I don't ask much of places like this. Quick affordable gas. Cold Diet Coke. Two out of three and you don't have to play chicken to get out of the parking lot. Won't be my first choice but I won't go out of my way to avoid it.

Not my favorite gas station...but one of the closer ones to my house that is actually name brand gas. The pump lines are tight which isn't usually an issue...until people start freaking out about an impending storm and then everyone gets super aggressive.The prices are higher then most other uptown stations which are always higher than the 'burbs. Another cost of living in the city.

The other morning I pulled up by the gas pumps they maybe 3 other cars they have at lest 12 bays open. So I get out my car to walk inside when an old guy wherein a boat captains hat tells me I can't park there bc they loosing to much money on gas I thought he was kidding but he became a little aggressive with his tone. I don't think he an employee they must give him food,anyway I say how yall charge 70 cents more than any gas station in the country 3.70 a gallon he don't even know I'm going inside to pay. So I look up by the parking spot two spots open were handicapped so i hade to park at the business next to it about 100 yards there and back. So I go inside grab a drink snack smokes and I ask the manager who is that guy telling me where I can park telling me they losing money on gas when ThoupShop charges 70cents more than any gas station In the state and a dollar more than Mississippi. Then I tell the manager there was no parking spots but the handicap then the guy comes in yelling at me so in getting upset and he comes up next to me telling me he owns the place he makes the rules. Then then manager was calm till then and told the guy he's got this to get out my face. At that point I was feeling threatened so the manager gets gangster on me telling me you maybe able to run my game on him but not on me I come outside then I feel someone else behind me it somekind of security and still telling me off so I said OK I just want to pay and leave and he keep talking i said can I just want pay and leave I put my hand up to stop and let me pay and leave so we made the transaction he told me not to come back. I was born and raised there for 40 years and he gonna tell where to go in my neighborhood. They taking advantage of all of us who live in this neighborhood uptown price gouging us for gas bc there not one for miles. I'm not making this up cross my heart. Boycott this place till they forced to sell add appreciate they where open this place years ago when the city council was all about handouts because the neighborhood didn't want it. I'm having my attorney trying to get tape and I will show.

Actually the new manager is almost as bad as the other woman manager. Both are passive aggressive and not friendly. The new employees are pretty nice, however.

Rudest people I've ever met and I'm a local. Incredible this place exists.. oh and gas prices are straight robbery.
