When i walked in the service was wonderful. I peed my pants. The people told me to clean it up but we all know I wasn't going to do that. The staff was clearly not happy when i ate all of the sushi. So over all 3 stars

The greeter is very nice when you first walk in. The environment is quiet, but the only thing that bothered me was the employees giving me looks when I picked out food as if I wasn't supposed to take the food? The sushi buffet area was consistently filled, but I don't recommend the nigiri sushi. The fish was very Dry as you might have heard, which should NEVER be the case for raw sushi! Especially nigiri sushi! Terrible texture in the mouth... I'm surprised I didn't get food poisoning. the sushi cones were pretty good, the flavor definitely made a good impression. The fried rolls were great too, jam packed with flavor. Not bad for a fried food. The sashimi was excellent with a good texture and color. Yeah, I don't know why the fish was so dry on the actual sushi... The only other problem with the place was their hibachi option...The hibachi options were okay. The whole way it works is you would pick ingredients from metal tins and give the hibachi chef your plate. you could grab several veggies, starches, and seafood from the bowl tins, and plenty of meats. The noodles were just about the only thing that I thoroughly enjoyed; the steak was overcooked and too tough to have any flavor. The big turn off for me is that the hibachi chef was in the back corner on his phone half of the time the food was cooking. The only reason he actually paid attention to the food that was just sitting there being roasted on a (if I may mention that the grill that the food was cooking on was uneven and obviously hadn't been cleaned in easily a couple days) griddle was to flip it and yet again, leave it unattended. Not the hibachi experience I've been looking for.Bottom line: good fried sushi and sashimi! Cones were good, noodles slapped. AVOID THE NIGIRI SUSHI.

A health inspector needs to come take a gander at this place. I was shocked to see the self serve raw meats that had probably been sitting out all day and shared tongs with each other, dripping various raw meat juices over vegetables etc. Once you got it cooked it didn't have enough seasoning. The sushi was actually the #1 worst ive had in my life and I had to throw it away. Ancient tasting rice that wasn't seasoned well, old fish, old oil. I'd understand why people go here if it was dirt cheap but it isn't

I ordered the House Special Tofu and my friend ordered the Hibachi with chicken and shrimp. Neither of us were impressed with the flavor of our food. The woman that took our to-go order was friendly but not knowledgeable about the food and they are not accommodating to special orders. It did take some time to prepare the food, which I don't mind, because I assume they make it to-order.Overall, I was underwhelmed and would not go back.

As others have stated, the quality of the sushi is low... like, REALLY low. If you're planning on coming for the sushi, don't. There are also some other hot food items, but they aren't too tempting. However, the hibachi is actually pretty good... not sure it's worth the price, though.

This place is probably one of the best buffets I've ever been to. They do such a good job here. Everything is fresh and clean and they really take care of everything. I went to the sushi buffet and did a build four own hibachi which was phenomenal. I got chicken, shrimp, beef and veggies. So fresh and so good. I'll definitely be back here next time I find myself in Baton Rouge for an LSU game! Cheers!

New owners. The food was cold & just plain nasty. Sushi was hard and stale, the hibachi wasn't that great. I miss when this place was "Kaminari". I won't be returning here unfortunately.
