Tasc Performance

Beware! Tasc products deteriorate over a very short period of time. I bought a number of their items and they start to strangely frey relatively quickly. If you like this type of clothing your much better off buying Lululrmon

Amazing brand and products, atrocious and insulting customer service. I ordered over $300 in items online over the holidays, and I needed to exchange a few items that were one size too small. The woman that appears to run the store immediately told me, when I was barely 3 steps into the store, that she will not do returns or exchanges. When she asked if I had worn anything and I responded with only once to try it on, she responded with "in what world do you live on that you can return things that you've worn?"I was shocked. I have never been treated so poorly, especially in New Orleans. My closet is full of TASC, but I will never buy anymore of their products. I am shocked TASC would allow that woman to be customer facing.

Shari V and I made a visit to Tasc for some lightweight clothing, maybe you'd call it performance clothing for a trip we are taking soon. I wanted something that looked like normal clothes for sightseeing but had that type of material that is really lightweight and wicks away sweat. Regular cotton would be less than ideal.Tasc had lots of nice options. I found a few polos and two pairs of shorts that fit nicely and looked good. The clothes we found struck a nice balance. The material is lightweight and a bit stretchy while looking nice without crossing that line into full blown athletic gear. It can be a tight line to walk. There were a handful of other customers, definitely more than there were salespersons. The staff did a good job of juggling requests and getting us checked out quickly. Side note. Shari V converted me over to lululemon years ago, and I really liked their stuff. The shorts held up great. I bought a few things over the last two years, and there stuff IMHO has really taken a dip in quality. I was looking for a local place, and I think Tasc may be the spot.

Tasc flag store is wonderful! There is a great selection and the staff is very helpful. I love the feel of the fabric and the style of the clothing. I also love the fact that is a locally designed brand. I am planning to buy all my active wear here from now on!

I want to begin by saying that I have only been into this location of Tasc twice with the first time being an excellent experience. The salesperson was very tentative, kind and helpful even while being the only salesperson on the floor (that I could see) while having three other guests in the store, not including myself. However, my second experience was not quite the same. When I walked into the store for the second time it was to inquire about a shirt that I had gotten as a gift for my father for Father's Day. The shirt didn't fit my father properly so I was curious if I could exchange the shirt, get a refund, or at least receive store credit in exchange for the shirt. I walked in with a smile and was greeted kindly by the salesperson just as I was during my prior experience. I explained my issue with the salesperson (who again was the only one on the floor that I could see, and there were only two customers other than myself in the store). The response given to me was that the shirt was "last season" (I bought the shirt a month and a half ago). The salesperson was kind and let me exchange the "last season" shirt for another "this season" shirt, so I found a shirt I thought my father would like and returned to the register for the exchange to commence. To my surprise the salesperson told me I would have to pay an additional $5 because the "this season" shirt was a higher price than the "last season" shirt. I spent $68 on the "last season" shirt, so I wasn't looking to spend anymore. I told the salesperson I would rather not and then asked why it costed more since it was the exact same style shirt and the response I was given was "the prices change with the color of the item." The salesperson did however leave the register to find a shirt on the rack I just searched through that's color price matched the "last season" shirt, so that was kind of the salesperson, I suppose. Once the transaction was complete I told the salesperson "thank you I really appreciate it," in which I got no response back. Not a "have a good day," "no problem," "you're welcome," or even a simple "bye." I hope that my father likes the new shirt because if it doesn't fit correctly I'll have to give it to charity seeing as how I will not be returning to Tasc in freight of not receiving a kind experience.

This store has such cute workout clothes. Better even than Lululemon. They've hosted yoga events that I've been attending and everyone is friendly and helpful. Plus it's a local brand!

CAVEAT EMPTOR! BUYER BEWARE! TASC clothes are a RIPOFF!!! EXPENSIVE and look good when you buy them but after a few washes they develop a very ugly fraying which looks like a funghi growing on the fabric.When we contacted Samantha at customer service and sent detailed photos......all we received was excuses regarding their return policy. They could care less that they are using CHEAP DEFECTIVE materials...you bought it you deal with it. SORRY we had to give one star to warn others to stay away...ALSO Sorry we were fooled....never again.LOOSERS!

I visited this store from out of town. I was sorely disappointed by the selection and the dull treatment by the staff. There was a very loud woman (presumably the manager or some other person in a position of authority at the store) standing up by the cash register cackling and telling some personal story to a coworker and ignoring every customer. By the way she was speaking it was evident that she couldn't have cared less about people visiting the store or purchasing anything. Further, when I asked a younger female worker about whether they had a different size top than those that were folded on one of the display tables, she flippantly told me no. The feel I get from this store is that they couldn't less about the customers. The inventory is poorly displayed and it appears no effort is made to stock all sizes of inventory, which is befuddling, considering the company headquarters are also located in New Orleans. I thought Tasc was a good brand prior to this visit---- Tasc management- if you are reading this, you would be well advised to coach the employees at your flagship store on customer service and general treatment of customers. If you can't get the basics down, your company will go belly up.

I love the personal touch and friendliness here. It's like going back to the neighborhood shop where everybody knows you. The clothing is great but the shopping experience is even better. I buy most of their products online but the in-store experience is a must. Good people!
