The best Mexican food in the area, hands down. The staff are also very sweet. We had the sandwich and the quesadilla.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, walked in and seems like the staff is all at the bar, drinking and enjoying themselves without noticing us, went ahead and seated ourselves.Waitress is friendly enough when she comes ask our drinks, but brings us stale old chips ..gross.We give her our order of baleadas, pupusas and gordita.She brings out our food , but no baleadas, instead two orders of pupusas and its the GREASIEST food ive ever received at a restaurant..Decent prices for bad food . Id recommend any other spanish eats around instead.

This food was vile to be frank and the service was even worse. It took the waitress 30 minutes to even take our orders- we were a party of 4- even when there was nobody else in the restaurant. The food took an hour to come- all at different times- and was greasy and slimy; cheap but the kind of food that will land you in the bathroom for hours later. The waitress also didn't check on us one single time after the food arrived and only appeared an hour later to tell us we had to pay the check at the front of the restaurant. Terrible. Save yourself the trip.

I really like the quesadillas here but after finding a dirty band-aid in our food tonight, we will never be back.

The food was so good, this is my 2nd time coming here and I love this place. Today we ordered 2 carne asada burritos and my kids had the asada quesadilla for lunch today and everyone was happy and satisfied. The horchata was also very good, this is the best Mexican food we have had since moving to Louisiana from California. We will definitely be back, all my kids kept saying was this is so good lol. Thank you for the great service as well.

One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in the New Orleans area. If you are looking for cheesy monstrosities on flour tortillas this is not your place. However if you are looking for desebrada, cabeza (barbacoa) or lengua tacos on corn tortillas with onion, cilantro and lime, along with menudo, shrimp cocktail, and micheladas, then this is your place. There is often a soccer game or Mexican music videos on the TV. Sometimes there are inebriated old men singing along with the baladas. It's been a while but I think they offer pointy cowboy boots for sale if that gives you an idea of who their target crowd is. I have never had a bad meal there and it's always been an enjoyable experience.

Like the good ol taquerias in Los Angeles! Carne Asada torta with a refreshing agua de jamaica.Very flavorful steak. I do wish it weren't cut up but it really makes no difference.

My friends and I decided it would be fun to go to a near by buffet to "feast" for Christmas Eve dinner... well to our surprise the buffet was closed. However, in our adventuring spirit we chose to go to a slightly sketchy, but potentially delicious mexican establishment located using the yelp app. I'll just say our Christmas Eve feast was not a disappointment.I ordered a chicken enchilada plate with 2 additional beef tacos. The red sauce was perfect. The meat could have had more cumin and oregano, but overall this has been the best mexican food I've had since I moved to New Orleans from Florida. It was also a very entertaining experience with spanish music videos in the background. It seemed that we were the only English speakers in the place. I will definitely be back the next time I have an enchilada craving.

The food here is very tasty. The street tacos are very similar that the ones I've tried in San Diego CA and Los Angeles. The staff is outstanding and the waitress who served me was very friendly; She makes you feel like if you were home. In my book these guys have 10 stars, too bad the limit is 5 haha. I'm visiting from Florida and needless to say every time that I'm here I'll be stopping by for great authentic mexican food.

Went in there today and was so disappointed. The food was terrible didn't eat what I ordered meat was hard and dry and grease was Just running off the food. Restaurant was empty. Food still had me sick throughout the night. Never ever seen a Taco look like this before
