I just moved to the area so I've been trying to find places to eat that didn't require me to go to be Orleans. I had the taquitos and enchiladas. The food hit the spot! I'm giving it 4 stars because the service wasn't great. It wasn't bad just not good. No one ever refilled our drinks. After we got our food no one checked on us. I had to flag someone down to get a to go box and the check.

I just happened to see this little taqueria on my way to pick up laundry from TLC Laundromat and I was like "heck yeah!" because little holes in the walls like this place always have the best food and can be real hidden gems in terms of authentic Mexican food. This wasn't the case here and I feel like I could have gotten better food at the local Taco Bell. I was hesitant walking in because there were no other customers and the booths were in shambles. The woman working there had to fix the broken leather seat in order for me to be able to sit down. The floors were clean and so was my table but yikes, invest in some new furniture! I decided on the #17 which consisted of three shredded chicken tacos on corn tortillas (you can ask for flour) with a side of cilantro, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and a package of sour cream. The tortillas were soggy and hadn't been warmed up in a skillet like I'm used to. The shredded chicken obviously had been seasoned but sure didn't taste like it and the iceburg lettuce was ICE cold and wet. This was just a really hastily thrown together meal straight from the freezer. I ate one and threw the rest away. They also don't have a fountain drink station and instead offer canned or bottled sodas. Really isn't worth your time or money. You can make this stuff cheaply at home or just pick up some Taco Bell, because although you'll be in the bathroom later, at least it has flavor.

Honestly came here cause I saw tamal in their menu. Unfortunately, they didn't have any, so I order 6 tacos. 2 beef, 2 tongue, and 2 tripe total was 17.05. I believe they make their own tortilla, I'm not 100% on it. But the imperfections on it and the varying thickness suggest that they were hand made. They were also so soft they tear easily. Meats was okay, not something to brag about. The tortilla were extremely soft but could use more time on the fire (imo). Slightly confused about having the onion and the cilantro on the side rather than in the taco and the salsa were all mild. So, in terms of taco they were okay. 3 stars for being okay.

Best salsa in Arabi. I usually get a barbacoa chimi and it is quite delicious. Small place in a strip mall, service has been great so far.

Good food usually comes out of places with small kitchens and this is no exception in my opinion. My favorites are the loco Nichols and the chicken mole.

My husband and I have been in here a few times and while the food has been decent, it hasn't been great. My last visit was my last ever, though. I had placed a to-go order and when I walked in, the woman behind the counter (whom I had seen there on both previous visits) glared at me and didn't even bother getting out of the chair she was slumped into, legs over the arms, phone in hand. She didn't greet me or even speak to me. She just glared like I was bothering her. A man came out of the kitchen and greeted me in a friendly manner. I paid for my meal and left.I ordered chicken enchiladas with salad, chips, salsa and queso. The queso was yellow nacho cheese that came from a can or a bag, similar to that at gas stations or ball parks. I didn't eat it. The enchiladas were the worst I've had in my entire life. There was no cheese, no sauce- just the driest chicken and tortilla on the planet. I tried to choke them down with some of the salsa and the packet of sour cream they gave me, but ultimately I threw my $15 meal in the trash. It was inedible. After the exceptionally poor service and bad meal, I won't ever go back. A word of advice, don't glare at paying customers like they're disturbing you especially when they appear to be your only customer.

Worst Al Paster taco of my life, very dry, looked like it was cooked a week ago, frozen and then reheated. People were nice though.
