Tacos Para La Vida

They used to be good when they were at longway tavern but not anymore. I don't know why I keep coming back here. Their traditional tacos are whatever and everything else they have just tastes like salt and oil. The ramen was absolutely disgusting, just ramen noodles in straight grease. Even the chocotaco was bland and salty.On their instagram they say they're open to "12ish" but close at 9 regularly.

This has literally become one of my favorite pop ups! I try to pass through whenever they're close to me. The food is fresh and top tier Mexican food. They put Taco bell to shame. I also love they're play and spin on the menu which is similar to Taco Bell's menu. So I got the Mexican Pizza. It comes with a layer of beef and beans, tostada and a layer of cheese and red sauce. The beef was flavorful and that homemade Queso was so good on top ! We also got a regular order of chips and Queso. The chips were sooooo delicious and crisp with a hint of salt on them. The Queso can be hit or missed at times but nevertheless it's still good. The couple who runs this are so sweet and always always serving the food with a smile. They told me that they'll be at Bub's Burger on Mondays every week.

The first birria tacos I've ever had came from Tacos Para La Vida and I haven't had any that have beat their birria tacos. I usually get the quesotacos dorados which are 3 for $12. They take their handmade corn tortillas, plancha crisped cheese, and the meat you choose topped with cilantro, onions, and their green salsa. It also comes with a cup of consommé to dip your tacos. Get the birria! You wont regret it.

Everyone was hyping up the birria pizza and it was not all that. I have definitely had better birria for cheaper. It wasn't very seasoned as well and it was overall not a great experience. The service was okay but the man taking our order seemed to be too into his work to listen to us. I hope you have a better experience.

Give it a 2/10, save the trouble and head to the real thing over at Taco Bell. This Mexican pizza tasted like an old shoe with fake cheese on it.There is no way that was real cheese...prove me wrong!
