Swig and Swine Barbecue

We just stopped in for a quick drink. Jeromy was wonderful and made me the best Sazerac in town. He was dealing with a bunch of partying patrons but managed to multitask and take good care of us.

Stumbled in here for shots and was notified they had nothing on the level of Casa Migos. Had 1800 Shiraz and $2 accompanied fireball shots. Total was $33. They also had food at this establishment but I'd probably pass on it, as it's new and the bartenders were talking about surrounding entanglements.

We had a great time last night, drawn in by a great live band. We ordered the pork tacos and loaded brisket fries. I loved it!!!We were back this afternoon but when I went in to use the bathroom a worker said one drink minimum. I said okay. I continued to the restroom and this same worker yelled across the establishment at me and asked if I heard him the first time. I said yes. He said I needed to purchase the drink prior to using the restroom. His negative tone and behavior prompted me to leave with no desire to return. I came back with my boyfriend to ask his name but he refused to give me his name and said "this is a business not a bathroom". He has certainly cost this establishment my business. I hope this review helps it no to happen to others who plan on coming back and are treated rudely. This put a damper on my good times on vacation.

Chad at the swig and swine was so lit. We went back multiple times on our trip because he was so fun and memorable! We love Chad!

The food here is so high quality for Bourbon St. You can smell the meat smoking when you walk by. Nana's Mac and cheese and the giant pretzel were also notable. Very clean and friendly staff. The saxophonist Brian was the high light of our trip.

Chad, one of the door guys, does his job very well. He came up to us, had a fun conversation, and got us to check out this little spot. I'm glad we did. Nice atmosphere and really good drink prices. A shot and a beer for $9 on Bourbon Street? I'll take two, please.

Great band- right at front of the bar. My kids got to enjoy a real party atmosphere from the sidewalk and I got to grab a beer and enjoy it with them. Staff was so kind and brought out waters to my kids. We went 3 straight nights. Hilight of our trip.

Beware! This place is absolutely horrible! We got assaulted by a very intoxicated employee who was forcing us to buy drinks and was accusing us to pay when no one served us anything. They do not accept Apple Pay. I wanted to buy the glitter drinks the bartender did not serve them yet because she informed me it's going to be $42 I said that is fine but do you accept Apple Pay she said we don't. She never poured the drinks. I was like ok well I will go to the next bar and then a male employee named Jeremy was really intoxicated working at the bar he said if you don't pay for the drinks I will spray y'all me and my 2 other friends. I looked at him in confusion because the bartender never served us anything. So we left and he came from behind us in the middle of the street and PEPPER SPRAYED 2 FEMALES and one male that did absolutely nothing! He was all in my female cousin's face and wanted to also hit her that 2 employees had to hold him down to prevent from hitting her! This all happened in the middle of the street he chased us down. No one served us no drinks we didn't owe anything and he was demanding us to pay!!? And then we get assaulted! Then we call the cops the police couldn't do anything because the other employees helped Jeremy escape! He was gone because he knew he was wrong by pepper spraying 3 ppl! Not only that he sprayed into a large crowd and other people next to us also got sprayed! This place needs to get shut down for having unprofessional employees and also there was another female bartender who was also very rude and racist! He sprayed my arms and back he sprayed by 2 friends in the face the pain was unbearable! This is an injustice pepper spraying innocent people they need to shut down this place! Now I see why he was really intoxicated per the review below me looks like he's been drinking since early in the day that explains everything. He needs to be charged for assault!
