Sweet Rice

Second review and I actually have pictures this time. I finally was able to take my mom and she fell in love with the taste of everything. We both like spicy so she got Hot and I got Thai Hot with extra spice added from the spice rack you can ask for. The service was quick and everything was made to order. We got the Thai iced coffee 7/10Thai Basil 7/10 (I prefer the Thai garlic)Pad Kee Mow (drunken noodles) 9/10 (best thing I've had there. So YUMMTom Kha Chicken soup 7/10I am excited to go back and try their pho which is new!!!!

I know the word is out about this spot in Central, Louisiana but I can't stress it enough how much you need to support this restaurant. The fact that you have such a great Thai restaurant literally in your backyard is astonishing in and of itself. Not only is the food they serve worthy of your patronage but the owners are super friendly, the service is excellent and the ambiance is cute. Do not let this place go. I know of a great spot that they could occupy within 10 minutes of my house.

We came right after they opened on their first day. We were really excited about a Thai restaurant opening in our area. We knew they may be short staffed and still learning since it was their first day. We were greeted and seated right away. Everyone was very pleasant. The restaurant is very clean and nice.We ordered steamed dumplings for our appetizer. We both said they were the absolute best we have ever had. Just a touch of spicy and absolutely delicious! We highly recommend them!I ordered the Thai Cashew Nut with Chicken and my husband ordered the Thai Garlic with Pork. Both were delicious and we would get them again, though we would probably increase the spice level next time. We weren't sure the first time what to expect.There were a few glitches in service, but nothing surprising for literally the first hour they are open. There were quite a few people here and tons of people picking up orders to go.Overall, the food was excellent, and we will definitely be back to try additional menu items. If you are in the area, give this new restaurant try!

Very fast and efficient! Very good food!! We got the pho, drunken noodles and the pepper steak! It was very good and we even had some extra to take home!

Really good addition to the Greenwell Springs/Central area. Quiet business center with good flow of traffic. I have great things to say about the green and purple tea. Goodness. Slow sips. It was very good. We've visited twice in one week. We had the chicken satay, special fried rice, chicken pad Thai, shrimp glass noodle, chicken green curry, pepper steak and Shrimp fried noodle. All of it was very flavorful and food temperature was on point. The vegetables in all the dishes were al dente and not over cooked. The service was absolutely wonderful. We had multiple people stop and ask if we needed anything. The water comes in a vase.

If you're seeking some great Thai food this place is it!! It's authentic Thai with so many amazing items on the menu. We started out with the chicken satay (which has the BEST peanut sauce I've ever had) and the wrapped shrimp. Don't skip on the apps, they were delicious! We ordered from the lunch menu Beef Pad Thai and Fried Catfish. They were both amazing however the catfish dish is extremely spicy. The service was quick and speedy - but one server running the whole main floor and she didn't skip a beat! The whole staff is friendly, kind, and wants to ensure you have the best experience- truly this restaurant is a gem! The restaurant is extremely open but there are limited tv's and there was not an alcohol menu. Great for a lunch place!

Very good meal. Look forward to going back. Everything was delicious and serving staff was great.

Not sure if I caught them on a bad day or what, but overall I was pretty disappointed. We called in a to-go order just before 1pm. Ordered pad Thai, spicy catfish, crab rangoons, Thai dumplings, Tom Mud dessert, and yellow curry. The food was hit and miss. The appetizers were both very good but the entrees were lacking. I'd never had that dessert before; it was different but I enjoyed it. The problem though is that after I checked out and was given my receipt, I discovered that I was charged the dinner price instead of the lunch price for the fish, which was an $8 or $9 difference. When I went back inside and inquired about it, he told me that he rang it up wrong and was unaware they had a lunch version. No effort was made t remedy the situation so I got stuck paying more than I should have.

Yum! This is a lovely little Thai place.We love the dumplings, Pad Thai, and crab rangoons. Honestly, there isn't anything we haven't tried that we haven't liked.
