Sweet & Simple Cupcakes & Cakes

I tried the strawberry cheesecake cupcake. Not bad tastes like a regular cupcake the cheesecake filling is really good I wish they would put more in there. The cake itself is a little dry and the icing is really sweet I wish they made their own homemade buttercream would taste a lot better.

Best hidden gem of Morgan City. The staff is friendly and the shop is lovely. Stop by and get a cupcake you won't be disappointed

Nice cute little place with nice ambience. Little stage for some open mic they do is cool. Prices very reasonable and cupcakes were great. Coffee good as well.

I live an hour away and this is the only place I order my birthday cakes from. Recommended by my cousin, I was hooked. Jamie's cakes never disappoints. The cakes always came out the way I asked and always delicious.

Blended espresso drink was terrible. Cookie and cupcake were good. Just not sure how they serve a frozen drink that was so bad. It wasn't sweet but it also didn't taste like espresso. At no point did they brew any espresso so it must've been a syrup.

Jamie has my cake decorate since she's open! She makes the most beautiful and tastiest cakes ever!

You have to try the blackberry cobbler cupcake or really just order the cake. It is phenomenal! There's nothing like it anywhere! A family favorite for sure!

Amazing food!! Everyone that works there is soooo sweet. This place is a total vibe to hang out with a friend or get some work done!

In area for work - stopped in for coffee and the place smelled incredible.. couldn't resist getting cupcakes for the crew.. everyone local raved about the place and loved the cupcakes.. being from Houston with an abundance of bakery options - this place exceeded anything I've had in Houston .. pretty legit..

What a great treat this is - literally! Everything about Sweet and Simple is outstanding. The store in the historic area of Morgan City next to the park, the atmosphere of the shop itself - a bakery, ice cream bar, and coffee shop all in one, and the quality of their sweets - always fresh and delicious. A stop here is always the "icing on the cake" for a long work day or a special celebration - or simply that sweet tooth craving. Sweet and Simple simply can't be beat!
