Sweet & Boozy

I really wanted to like this place, but it was incredibly overpriced for the size and quality of the milkshake that I got. $12 for a small milkshake that wasn't a top 5 milkshake of all time was disappointing. The person working was really nice and helpful though. Overall, I wouldn't come here again, but not because the milkshake/ice cream was bad... just because it's very overpriced.

Sweet & Boozy was a unique and fun experience. I got the Paradise piña colada ice cream and it was delicious but very rich. It definitely had all the flavors of a piña colada with dreamy whipped cream on top. The ice cream was a little pricey for me but it was fun to try. I love the decor and the owner was there that evening. He's a great guy. We sat and talked about owning small businesses in NO.

Owners are incredibly kind. The ice cream is outrageous! My Oreo shake had an entire chipwhich on it. Granny's oatmeal shake was amazing as well. Tons of stuff for the kids!

Hate to do one stars - but in this case it's needed. Saw a group of college aged kids wander in. Not sure what occurred - but someone claiming to be the owner literally shook these kids down right in front of a store full of customer. Some nasty sh*t went on. The kids were clearly shaken up (I checked to make sure they weren't hurt). The ice cream is not good enough for this. Better bet is to STAY AWAY. @yelp - it would be great to be able to do a review with less than one star. This place deserves it (and probably some jail time).

The service was very nice. The ice cream was good as well. I believe there's only 2% alcohol in there so it's not like you can get tipsy from it but it was very good. You can taste the flavors. The ambience is very girls day out if that makes any sense. Very pretty pink just a cute little ice cream shop.

The ice cream is good. The service is very friendly. The place is adorable. It could use a little upkeep and some music.

I've tried to patronize this business several times but it appears that they are closed. I even reached to their social media page a month ago and haven't received a response. I was really looking forward to supporting this business and hope they open/reopen soon. I will update my review if anything changes.

AMAZING SERVICE, awesome comfortable atmosphere you are able to spend hours in (literally we did) The food was amazing best ice cream ever!! The best employee was Alina.

Unfortunately, we got here at 2 pm and it was closed. Although the hours were set to open at 1. Strange.

Such a great ambiance and service I loved the the young lady I met yesterday she had recommendations and such a lovely energy! I will be back to try other sorbets because it was GOOD!
