Swap sold faulty shoes with latent defects that could not be determined until they were worn. Instead of offering to replace the shoes the best they would do is offer a 20% discount on a future purchase. Be careful when buying products here as you may end up with faulty products.

Love this place! Went the day before quarantine so I haven't been able to get back. But I bought some great pieces, a jacket, a purse and some boots!

Dropped in here the other day and was pleasantly surprised by the great variety of clothes and the reasonable prices they offered! My friend and I ended up getting a couple pieces each, all lightly worn and fairly priced. The front desk worker was super friendly as well. They explained that the sales and prices depend on timing. After one month, the item goes 15% off, after another few weeks, it will be marked down 25%, and so on. So if you have your eye on something but aren't sure it's worth that price you can always take a gamble and check back in a couple of weeks! Will definitely be coming back to check out their items in the future!

Had a mini-shopping-palooza today and hit a few of the clothing consignment shops (Prima Donna, Swap, Encore, and On the Other Hand) uptown in search of a formal gown that would fit my short, curvy self. So I feel confident in my comparisons.Swap is a newer store in the University Section and seems to cater mostly to the college crowd. That said there were some cute shoes, jackets, etc in mostly nicer mall brands (J. Crew, Banana Republic, Jessica Simpson). The prices were good and the shop was well organized. It was also the smallest of the four stores I went to, but that was OK since I was getting overwhelmed by volume, so it was nice to have some actual breathing room.

I stopped here on impulse and 15 minutes later walked out with a summer jacket by Eileen Fisher. It doesn't get better than that. I didn't survey everything but I'll be back.

Always a beautifully curated selection of clothes, accessories, and shoes in excellent condition. Swap is very serious about what they accept, ensuring it's high quality, classic, and on trend. I love selling and buying at Swap!

Swap is my go-to place for clothes, shoes and purses. I especially want to commend Marion who has helped me tremendously. At the last minute I have twice, recently, needed a dress for two different dressy events.I asked Marion for help, and within 5 minutes, both times, she came up with the dress, the purse and the shoes. I would not have been able to find and put together the outfits that she did for me.I find Swap to be reliable and I'm always happy if I walk in and see Marion and/or Anna. Both are good!

This shop always has a nice selection..I seem to find something every time I pop in. My only complaint is that the staff could be a little friendlier and not act like it is a hassle for us to be in the store.

I love this store! Never had a bad experience, the sales associates are very knowledgeable and today I met Kourtney, who was very nice and made my experience even better! I tell all my friends about the store and love their sales! Best consignment store in NOLA!
