I went to swamp rags today.1. INCREDIBLY overpriced. Old ass tee shirts being sold for as much as $65!2. Music was loud and sucky and made me want to run but I looked at everything anyways.3. Sales rep COULD not have given less than a shit.4. Smelled overpowering in there.5. No clear signage between men's and or if there WERE women's but at this price point--GOOD BYE.Just another indication of outside money ruining this city.

While we waited for our BNB to open up, we Googled "thrift shops" and this one was the closest to us walking distance from where we ate lunch at Johnny's Po Boy. When we got here, we immediately saw the vintage decorations on the walls and around the store. It really gives the space a nice vintage look and feel. Some of the retro furniture's consisted of old school arcade games, cooler, pull out drawers, etc. As we went around the store and looked at the tags, we realized we weren't at your average thrift store, but instead it became apparent that we were in a more retro and vintage novelties store. There were several really fun pieces that I would've loved to taken home with me, but it wasn't in my budget for this trip. Lot's of cool nostalgic pieces for sure! It was a cute spot to look around and it was definitely worth the stop.

First off, the selection is great. Secondly, the owners are great, local people. They have a great sense of community and you can really tell they care to curate a phenomenal collection of Nola vintage. There is something for everyone here. Strongly encourage checking out if you're in or around the French Quarter or looking for vintage/Nola vintage clothing. I wear my '97 Jazz Fest T Shirt almost every week. You won't find a better selection of Vintage anywhere around Nola
