I was lucky enough to be invited to a private vendor appreciation party at their home location. We were picked up at our home by limo (and returned later that evening) and taken to quite a party, crawfish, crab and shrimp boil, pirogue full of beer and sodas and an afternoon of some of the best Zydeco I have heard. Lots of locals bring pot luck, jambalaya, bread pudding and more. Alligators everywhere. Talk about a good time! Laissez Le Bon Temps Roulet.

First off this tour was recommended by the Monteleone hotel for $90, I had a choice between this tour which was advertised to be more personal as apposed to the larger group tour for $75. Of course we wanted a more personal tour and went for the $90 one. There were 6 of us plus our swamp idiot, yes swamp idiot. We rode on a airboat but only went down 2 Mabel 3 swamp channels, we only picked up speed over the water a couple of times. Saw about 8 gators and threw marshmallows at them, listened to to many I could have been a millionaire if I ... Stories. Aside from the included transportation from our hotel to the swamp this should not have cost $90. I took two $20 walking tours in the days before that I got more out of than riding with the swamp idiot. I knew when the boat said for all to see " if you like the ride tip the guild" that I was gonna be disappointed.

Extremely boring. Not worth the money at all. The boat is extremely loud & even though you get headphones it doesn't drown much of the noise. The tour is almost 2 hrs & we saw 3 tiny alligators!!! Don't expect to see any action on this tour. I am writing this review as I am on the boat, yes that is how boring this is. It's not what you see on the Discovery channel, don't get excited. Save your money.
