The sushi is so good ! Today I ordered a row, which is 6 sushi rolls, of snow-crab sushi rolls and a side of chicken fried rice. This is my 4th or 5th time here. The service is fast and amazing, the ambiance is beautiful ! They have specials where it's all you can eat, hopefully over one of my break I can make it to one.

First off, Sushi Nami is all about that AYCE (all-you-can-eat) life, which is for anyone who wants to stuff their face with sushi without selling their soul. The vibe? Think cherry blossoms overhead, giving you that "I'm in Japan but actually in Louisiana" feel. The menu is like a choose-your-own-adventure. Didn't like that roll? No worries, just flip the page to find something else to stick in your mouth. The food? Oh, it's good. They've got rolls that'll make you drool and sashimi that'll make you weak at the knees. So, if you're in Metairie and craving some sushi definitely try Sushi Nami.

So many things to try! You do get charged for what you don't finish since it's all you can eat. I wish they would cut down on portion sizes so people can have more variety without waste. Special shout out to the calamari which was delicious!

I recommend Sushi Nami if you're a sushi lover. I tried the $34.99 AYCE with a group of friends. The AYCE offers a variety of options - appetizers, sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, and desserts. The orders were in a perfect portion - small but sufficient. It allowed us to try more options from the menu without wasting too much. The ingredients were fresh. We were all happy. The interior was cool. I loved the dark tone and the Japanese decors. Our servers were super friendly. She checked on us multiple times and came by frequently to ask if we needed anything. Overall, I had a great experience at Sushi Nami. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon!

Sushi Nami is an all you can eat Sushi restaurant in Metairie, LA. We were a party of six when we arrived for dinner. You must take the stairs to access the restaurant. The whole entrance and the staircase are adorned in cherry blossoms, there's also a massive wall art of a Geisha. We had to wait 40 minutes for a table. In the meantime we had some drinks at the bar.Sushi Nami is pretty big. There are cherry blossoms across the ceiling.Their menu is broad, offering an illustration of every item. You can also have the Al a Carte menu, which are individually priced items. The cost per person for all you can eat sushi is $33.99.At Sushi Nami your first drink, whether it's Saki, house wine or beer, are included with the all you can eat menu.We first started with soup and the seaweed salad. Each of the rolls of sushi arrived on its own serving dish. With the exception of the Bugs Bunny roll, which was essentially all lettuce, all of the rolls were excellent. They were all flavorful, fresh and so colorful! Summer Roll was one of my favorites. If you're looking for fresh, tasty sushi while in Metairie, LA, look no further than Sushi Nami.

Sushi Nami has a new fan: it was my first time going and I've gotta say I was very impressed! If you've never been, the restaurant itself is on the 2nd floor, so you'll walk up the stairs to get to the host stand and restaurant!Their menu has a large array of food and drink options, including an all-you-eat choice for $35 (as of Nov 2024), which is what I opted for. For details on the all-you-can-eat option, I'd say that in regards to getting your money's worth, if you want to try a variety of food, it's the best choice (especially considering it offers sushi, sashimi, soup, noodles, rice, appetizers, 1 drink included, and other items)! Also keep in mind that some of the all-you-can-eat portions are smaller than what they would be if you ordered them as a regular menu item, which is why this is such a great choice for trying a variety of menu items! On the other hand, if you already know what exactly you like, opting for a regular menu option is probably the best option, unless you're planning to eat a lot!As far as service and ambiance, when I went it was with a large group (8 people), and our server did a fantastic job getting all our orders and bringing food out quickly. I was honestly surprised with how soon our food and drinks were delivered (probably within 10-15 minutes of ordering)! Not to mention the restaurant has an incredible set-up and super cute decor. The food and drinks themselves were very tasty (be warned the drinks are strong!), and I certainly see myself going back again!

My daughter and I have enjoyed this restaurant. Everything was good. Rolls just missing a wow factor. But for an AYCE sushi quality is pretty solid. Great customer service, beautiful spacious and clean. Food is lightning fast. Only thing is, my mom had a tough time getting up the stairs.

Upon arrival at Sushi Nami in Metairie, LA, the building's elegant design and Japanese art on the walls instantly make you feel like you've been swept into an ancient city in Japan. The ambiance is further enhanced by Japanese cherry blossoms on the ceiling and various faux trees spread throughout the building, creating a visually appealing atmosphere. Several TVs are also placed around the restaurant, adding a modern touch to the decor. The service at Sushi Nami was commendable. I had the pleasure of being served by Mia, who was not only efficient but also entertaining and funny. She offered various rolls from the extensive menu, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. One of the main attractions of Sushi Nami is the AYCE (All You Can Eat) sushi. The menu boasts over 85% AYCE rolls, hibachi, and dumplings. However, the portion sizes left something to be desired. While the AYCE pricing is attractive at $22.99 for lunch and $33.99 for dinner, it was confusing to learn that the menu doesn't change, leading to concerns about price gouging without offering more value.Unfortunately, my visit coincided with some operational issues. The credit card machine wasn't working, leading to cash-only transactions, which seemed suspect. Additionally, the TVs were off, and the lights were out, making for a rather eerie experience, especially when having to use a very dark restroom.Overall, the food was pretty good for an AYCE sushi restaurant. Sushi Nami offers a wide variety of sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes that cater to both sushi aficionados and first-timers. Despite the hiccups, I'd recommend giving it a try for its unique ambiance and decent food offerings. I'll definitely try it again and update my review in the not so distant future
