Sushi Express

Avoid the sushi. It is almost inedible. The rolls had some type of ground mish mash that we could not identify. Into the garbage it went.

I absolutely LOVE Sushi Express! The sushi is Always fresh and at a great price. My absolute favorite is the Stevens roll, and they have the best snow crab roll! This is a small family owned place with customer service!

Going to add photos next time I go, but this is my new favorite sushi spot!! The best place to go for sushi takeout. I can't even believe I didn't know about it before... Spent about $10 today on a lunch special for 2 rolls that were 8 pieces each and also miso soup! I thought for so cheap that the sushi wouldn't be good but it was FAR better than other sushi spots in town and definitely better than my typical $14 rouses rainbow roll that I grab for lunch sometimes. Bye bye rouses and whole foods sushi, I will be getting way better sushi here from now on and saving money

Very good sushi for the price and HUGE portions! The crab ragoons were more savory than I'm used to, but the sweet and sour sauce was very sweet so it balances well.

I ordered a tempura fried Philadelphia roll and pieces of the salmon are GREY. I'm so grossed out. If you decide to eat here please check your food to avoid getting sick. Really hoping I don't get sick since I ate one piece. I'm appalled that they didn't notice this.

When properly provided -- the food is good.This ends the positive portion of the review.As an established business in the Metairie area, me and my co-workers order here often. On multiple occasions we've had to deal with a disrespectful, demeaning and rude delivery driver. Today was the last straw...This afternoon, upon receiving our order and to sign for it, the delivery driver threw a pen at my co-worker and barely opened his mouth to address her: no pardon, excuse me, no apology...It was unprofessional and left us absolutely stunned. Additionally, upon receiving my order, the toasted bits that should go into my egg drop soup weren't present.And then, upon calling to inform the restaurant to report the issue, no form of compensation or corrective response was received.We feel unwelcome ordering here and will no longer offer our business to them.As we will not return here, we advise individuals who value establishments with good rapport, etiquette, and the common niceties to avoid it like the plague.

Lots of food at good price. They give you a lot for the Chinese entrees. Quick service. Mostly takeout.

Service was very fast and nice. Fresh food! Sushi was great. Ambiance was awesome. I loved it.
