Susan’s Sassy Sweets

I took my Sweet Freak Friend into the bakery so she could choose her own birthday treats. Let me tell you how excited my friend was and how relieved I am not to have had to choose a Birthday Cale for her! My friend sayid it was the best birthday Gordy she had ever received. Four days on the beach, touring the local art/curio shops in Bay St Louis and then topping it off with allowing her the choice of her indulgences! So glad she shared.... this is a no brained for next year. Ha haWe/she chose delightful cupcakes, a unique King Cake with flaky dough filled with cream and a small Red Velvet cake! I think she would drive from Mew Orleans and visit just to have the opportunity to visit Susan's Sweet Shop on her way home!

Found this little gem by literal accident and so glad I did! They had really good cupcakes that were both beautiful and delicious. They also had gluten-free macaroons and dog treats! Consumers of all LOVED every bite. Reasonably priced bakery and small space but they had plenty of stock. We had all 4 flavors of macaroons (i.e., vanilla, coffee, pistachio and lemon). The red velvet cupcake, red velvet petit four and a wedding/almond cupcake and all were delicious! Cupcakes were normal sized and not giant which I appreciate. No place to sit and eat, more of a stop in and pick up but well worth the stop.

FThis is a gem nestledaway in picayune! The cupcakes are amazing. With so many different flavors, it is hard to choose. Each cupcake is soft and fluffy but does not crumble like normal places. My favorite is the lemon cupcake. Definitely will be going back! Thanks Susan!!!!

I ordered my wedding cake over 1.5 mths ago. I was also speaking with her in regards of catering, she said her husband could perhaps do some things and they would get me a menu and some prices by the next week. She never got anything together and when I contacted her again, she said he could do some prime rib for $3,000. I said no thank you but I still wanted the cake. If I was paying $3,000 for food, I needed more communication and more dependable or reliable and I didn't feel it with her. I was communicating with her via email. It took days for her to respond. She eventually sent me her cell phone number. After I messaged her regarding a confirmation a week before the wedding and for a price , she texted me and said $214 and it is needed to be paid before end of "HER" day. I was at work and could NOT leave, due to the fact I am a nurse and I was responsible for my patients I had no way to go pay her. I said I could come pay her in a couple days, which was before the wedding. I didn't ever mind paying for it at anytime, but she never said when it needed to be paid and communication with her was a hit or miss. I also lived an hour from her. She said I could pay her over the phone, but again, I had no debit card on me at the time. And honestly the way she acted, I did not want to support her business. I ordered another cake the next day, paid for it and all is great. So beware! She's sketchy.

I ordered a chocolate chip cookie birthday cake with lots of icing. It was a beautiful cookie cake and was scrumptiously delicious! Jeri from Texas
