Sunny's Ice Cream Parlor

If you ask me this is one of the best places to get a snowball in Kenner! Especially on a hot sunny day. The snowballs are really good, they don't hold back on giving you enough juice and they are super affordable. This may be the only place in town that you can get a snow ball for $2 and some change, and the pictured snowball is a small. Can't beat that! Not to mention they have great sugar free flavors. I've been trying to find watch my sugar intake so I ordered the wedding cake and strawberry flavor, and I really couldn't tell the difference. It's my new go to snowball flavor.

The people are super friendly and the taste and variety of flavors is great. The prices are unbeatable. My favorites are the sugar free grape, sugar free green apple and sugar free pineapple. At times the ice can be a little chunky, but the flavors and overall experience overrides that occasional flaw. I'll be back many time over the summer!

My sister had told me about this place a few months ago but they hadn't reopened yet. I was really skeptical when my sister guided us there today because I find a lot of places Ice is too crunchy rather than fluffy. I ended up really happy, Sunny's did not disappoint. On first impression, Sunny's looks like an old check cashing place or something. But honestly, that doesn't matter. This is a great spot to grab a good priced snoball. My son had a small strawberry/cherry snoball stuffed with vanilla soft serve (they also have froyo, and other flavors too!) I had blackberry, mango & tigers blood stuffed with vanilla soft serve, and my sister a strawberry snoball. On all accounts the ice was nice and fluffy rather than crunchy (my preference), and the flavors were nice and rich without being too sweet. They had the perfect sweetness to it. In total the cost was $6 and some change. Definitely coming back.

Refreshing and delicious! I'll start off by saying the ice was more like sno cone ice to me. It was harder and clumpier-like the sno cones I'd get from the ice cream man when I was younger. It's not bad, just not as smooth as some other places.With that said, the syrups are amazing! I got cotton candy and mango and it was just what I needed on a hot and humid day. Flavor wise, it was the best cotton candy sno ball I've had. The portions are also gigantic and prices are incredibly low-I ordered a small and was given a very large cup for just $1.50. We arrived when they just opened (on the dot because we were that desperate for a sno ball) so it wasn't crowded yet, but you could tell it was getting busy given the amount of people that began to walk in a few minutes after they opened. Anyway, we'll definitely be back soon because we loved our sno balls!

Best snowball place in New Orleans if you ask me hands down. You should not pass this up. One thing I didn't like is they only take cash so make sure you have it before you come.

Never ever again amI going to buy from here. Just left from here and this is what was in the snowball. I will be calling the health department this is disgusting! Please be careful if you go buy here. The worst experience ever!!!

Locally owned for many years. Employee's high school students that work hard and are very pleasant and accommodating! Great sno balls and ice cream.It is cash only.

The treats are all very good and reasonably priced. This is the first time that I've had the Water Ice. It was really good. Of course anything would have been after waiting over 45 minutes in line to order and another 10 to get our order. Our friends had to leave before they even made it to the counter. They were not the only ones. The staff worked at a snail's pace the entire time. No communication. No apologies. I can't say that I won't be back because we live around the corner and our six year old loves it. But if there is a line at all I will drive to Casey's in Metairie. It'll be faster.
