St. Louis Cemetary
Saint Louis Cemetery # 1
Really cool cemetery tour- great guide!
As a professional, Carlos made sure he did not photobomb any of my pictures :)
Henry Sullivan Buckner's mansion in the Garden District. Some might recognize it as the house from American Horror Story: Coven.

Found this place on groupon. I highly recommend this company. We had Carlo as a tour guide, and he was very informative which left me with no questions needed to be asked. If you come in the summer, beware of the heat and lack of shade (which is how every cemetary tour is). I came today and it was about 85 degrees, but it felt hot. It's near french quarters and bourbon street. I advise to just pay the $10 for the 10 hours to avoid traffic.

We found a Groupon for a walking cemetery tour and decided last-minute to buy and book online based on Storyville's great ratings. The online portal was very easy to use for booking with the voucher. Our selected tour was a 9:00am St Louis Cemetery #1, kicking off at Armstrong Park.We arrived at about 8:40a and found our tour guide Carlo ready and waiting. We were surprised to hear that we were the only two scheduled for this morning, and Carlo let us get started early to help beat the heat. Our tour started in the park with some background information on the city and its cemetery/burial history before walking to the cemetery itself. Carlo was extremely knowledgeable about many different grave sites of significance, policies and procedures implemented by the Catholic Church, and genuinely was excited and entertained to be talking about it. He also had a binder with a few references that were helpful. If you are looking for this specific tour, see about Carlo's schedule and book with him. If we hadn't already booked elsewhere, we would look for additional tours with this company!

My boyfriend and I had our tour of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 yesterday and very much enjoyed it! We ended up having the tour all to ourselves which was nice and my boyfriend and our guide Carlo bonded over their mutual backgrounds of being in the Navy. Incredibly informative and easy tour that leaves you with plenty of time left in your day to continue sight seeing.

Tour was awesome and really informative. Carlo Gambino was a great guide. I was really concerned about a lot of walking because it is an hour- hour & 1/2 tour depending, but wasn't too much walking at all. We started at the Louis Armstrong park which we learned a great history about, then proceeded about a block and a half away to the cemetery. Was shocked to be able to learn that much about the city in a cemetery tour, but Carlo is full of history of both the living and the dead. This is def the tour company I will recommend.

I had a really wonderful tour of St Louis Cemetery No. 1 with Carlos from Storyville. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He adds interesting trivia along with historical facts making the tour more relevant and memorable. I learned so much while having lots of fun. It was very hot so he made sure I was able to find shade in which tostand throughout the tour. At the end of the tour, I got the most valuable piece of information which was a recommendation to check out the Fried Chicken Festival that was happening and a recommendation forWille Mae's booth, where I had the most amazing fried chicken. As a local, Carlos has the inside scoop on all the best spots. One important note is that the cemetery tour actually starts at Louis Armstrong Park, so you get a bonus mini tour and background of the park as well.

Tour was fantastic! Carlo was very informative and knowledgeable. He started off telling us about Louis Armstrong Park and the origins of New Orleans. We then went on to the cemetery, where he was highly entertaining. Thank you so much, Carlo! I regret forgetting to bring more cash for tip!
