I'm writing this review strictly on the food served here. The burgers are good. I like the cowboy burger. It comes with bacon, cheddar, bbq sauce and fried onions. The club sandwich is a favorite of my fiancé and our little girl. They both come with fries which usually adds $2-$3. It's tucked into a strip mall on Transcontinental and W. Napoleon. I did see a couple of pool tables and a small outside patio. The place is clean and the bartender was nice.

I've been to Step Brother's a few times and there's no in between there. It's either really good or downright terrible which pains me to say because it's a few blocks from where I live. I'd frequent this place if it was consistent but the past couple of times I've been I've been totally soured on ever stepping foot in there again. There's a blonde female there that can't bartend worth her life. It's pretty clear she's out of her depth when things get mildly busy. I ordered an Old Fashioned with Jim Beam, a Blue Moon for my girl, and an order of cheese sticks the last time I went. We legitimately waited 15 minutes for our drinks, having people that came in after us be served before us. Making the issue worse, instead of advising me she doesn't have an orange to muddle in my drink, she used orange juice which is a huge no-no. It was disgusting. We never received the cheesesticks. We maybe spent 20 minutes total there because we were so put off and when we went to pay, she refused payment because she knew how terrible she'd been. I won't be back.

The place really isn't anything special at all. Just your typical Metry bar with plastic cups for mixed drinks and the food was just okay. There was a bartender doing shots and yelling and cursing like a lunatic. Literally screaming at the topOf her lungs. It was not a good experience at all. I was hoping to make this a regular spot because I live close but unfortunately that is not happening.

Step Brothers is a great late night burger joint. Cool DJ and super friendly bartenders. Burger hits the spot every time after a long night of debauchery.

No heat today and no parades today but they still make a good drink and well it's stepbrothers so what do you expect?

I just ate a cheese burger from here with extra crispy fries. Food came out as I stepped up to the bar to pay. Fries were extra crispy like I requested and the burger was on time. Just a little pink and warm and juicy. Can't go wrong.

This is one hell of a neighborhood bar! Really good food, great drink prices and for the winner...NO SMOKING INSIDE!!! TVs, darts, pool...we had a great time and shared shots with a guy we later found out ran the place! He was enough of a welcoming personality to keep me and my girlfriend, and she is way more judgemental than my Irish arse! This is a unicorn in Jefferson Parish! Highly recommended! Sláinte!

We stopped here after work the other day for a little pick-me-up! This was the first time I've been to Step Brother's but my husband had been a few times in years past. This place definitely has a divey vibe going on. They have a fair amount of seating available, although most of it is on high bar stools which I am not really a fan of. There is a large couch near the front window, so we ordered our drinks at the bar and then headed to the couch to relax for a bit. The bartender was very attentive, and asked us what we would like to order as soon as we sat down at the bar. I ordered a double vodka and redbull, while my husband ordered a pitcher of Stella, so no complaints as far as service or drink options available. They have several TV's playing, with various shows on ranging from sports to news. They didn't have any music going, but it was still early and the folks who were there were chatting amongst themselves. What wasn't so great was the serious gnat/fruit fly situation going on. I don't like swatting bugs that are flying around me while I am using the ladies room, or squishing bugs flying around my drink while I am trying to relax at the bar, so I found that aspect of my experience to be quite unpleasant. While I'm all about divey/hole-in-the-wall joints, this place wasn't really for me and I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.
