Decided to treat myself to brunch after church today. I'm so glad, I landed here. This was my first visit to Stab's and I will return. My experience was so nice and warm. I did not make reservations today and luckily I was able to be greeted and seated within five minutes of walking in. As soon as I entered the hostesses greeted me and asked my preference for a party of one; bar, table or upstairs sitting. I asked for a table and was walked into the dining area within three minutes or less of the initial exchange. As this establishment fills up quickly, I'll probably make a reservation on my next visit. My server was Sabrina and she was such a bubbly server and offered great selections for me as it was my first visit. I ordered the Rosemary Martini, French Onion Soup and a half dozen charbroiled oysters with jalapeños and bacon. Although, the soup and oysters were considered appetizers it was more than enough for me and I had leftovers to bring home. Sabrina checked on me throughout my dining and I was also greeted by the GM and owner David. He was just as warm and welcoming as Sabrina and the hostesses. Coming here felt warm and welcoming and the food was warm and welcoming...simply delicious. When you enter the location, the scenery is so calming with a beautiful water fountain on site. You have the option to dine inside or outside. I will do outside on my next visit. The inside of the establishment is very nice. It gives you an old yet modern Victorian vibe with the high ceilings, staircase and chandelier lightings throughout. There's a nice bar area and beautiful black and white photos are beautifully displayed throughout.I have nothing but great things to say about my visit and I can't wait to return for myself and when my friends come to visit.

The service was perfect. Very attentive. The environment was great (minus having to stare at the cluttered wine cellar that's more like a storage closet). Food wasn't bad, but I'm 99.8% certain that my filet mignon was just a sirloin. I know my cuts, and this ain't my first rodeo. You can do better than that Stab's.

So I asked my wife where she'd like to go for her birthday dinner. She requested Stab's. I called and made reservations. The lady who made my reservation was very kind and asked if we would be celebrating any special occasion. I told her it was for my wife's birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted and quickly taken to our table. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Our waitress did an amazing job! She was so attentive! Our food came out in a very timely fashion, and it was phenomenal! We had salads, asparagus, smoked prime rib and filet mignon. Wow...just amazing! Just when we thought the service and attentiveness couldn't get any better, our waitress brought my wife a complimentary birthday dessert of bread pudding! I also noticed that the manager, David Rine, checked in each customer. He was very friendly and talked to us as we weee leaving the restaurant...gave me his card to call him when we wanted to make another reservation. I just can't say enough about this place! Just go and enjoy one of best dining experiences ever!

Brunch for the Birthday GirlDon't skip out on Stab's for brunch! $15 bottomless mimosa with the purchase of an entree - amazing! Their brunch menu is just as appetizing and glamorous as their dinner entrees. The food was immaculate, delicious and left us wanting more! We ended up sitting upstairs which is a nice change but those are some steep stairs. Recommend sitting outside with the nice weather. The boudin egg rolls was ahhhmazing - seriously, I could have ordered two more orders and been happy! Don't skimp on the breakfast burger either - it's the same delicious burger on their happy hour/lunch menu plus an egg cooked to your liking - yum! The service was quick and prompt. Our server seemed unhappy when we asked about a cake to be served afterwards that was brought in - but it was most likely a miscommunication with management and not forewarning the server that they would honor a cake being brought in to be served. She was slightly rude to several of us at the table which made things uncomfortable for our experience but I'm sure most of us will be back! Recommendation - mgmt communicate with staff so there isn't a misunderstanding and a moody server providing a poor experience at a high end restaurant!

Started with the Cajun boudin spring rolls and the jumbo lump crab cake. The spring rolls came with ponzu sauce and were delicious. Highly recommend! The crab cake was good but definitely not the best. There were just way too many crab shells inside of it and for $28 I just expected something way better. Our waiter also brought us some complimentary bread and butter right before our entrees came out. The bread was warm and fresh. For entrees, my husband and I both ordered the filet with a side of roasted garlic gouda mashed potatoes. Our waiter asked us when ordering our steaks if we wanted the crispy onions that usually come on top of them and if we wanted some herb butter to go on top as well. We both said yes to those two things however we never got our crispy onions. We also found out when receiving our bill that the herb butter was an additional $6 for each steak. $12 for some butter is just insane. Our waiter mentioned nothing about this when asking us if we wanted this. Steaks were good but definitely not the best I've ever had. The garlic gouda mashed potatoes had no taste at all. We had to add salt and pepper. No taste of garlic or gouda which we found strange. The ambiance inside of this restaurant is nice.

Whenever someone asks me where to go for brunch, Stab's is always my recommendation! I went Sunday to celebrate a family member's birthday. This establishment never disappoints, no matter the location.We started off with two appetizers for the table: The Charbroiled Oysters topped with bacon and jalapeños & The Boudin Spring Rolls. This was my first time having the oysters from Stabs. Dispute the oysters being really small (this could be a seasonal thing), the flavor was amazing! The cheese, bacon and jalapeños elevated the classic charbroiled oysters! I would definitely order these again, but hopefully the oysters will be bigger. The Boudin Spring Rolls are an old faithful! We order these every time and they are always crispy and delicious. For our entrees we tried the Smoked Fried Chicken, Fruit Waffle topped with Ice Cream, and the Filet Tips with Scrambled Eggs! I tried a little of everything. The Filet Tips and Scrambled Eggs with the mashed Gouda potatoes was absolutely worth trying! The filet tips are sizable chunks of steak and the potatoes are so creamy! I did my best to eat it all, but it was hard after I tasted everyone's food! The Fresh Fruit Waffle was perfection, especially with the vanilla bean ice cream! You don't even need syrup! The waffles here are sugary and lite, which makes you want to just inhale them! Finally, I did have a piece of the smoked fried chicken, but I honestly think it lacked some seasoning and was fried a little hard. The Smokey flavor was definitely there though! Of course, we washed everything down with the bottomless mimosas (great price point of $12)! We didn't expect them to be so large, which left no room for refills (that's a good thing though)! If you can manage to drink two, then you've got your money's worth! Highly recommend! Make a reservation if you are dining with more than 4 people.

i thought this was an up-scale restaurant, it was priced like one, but food was comparable to Chili's. They did not have ranch dressing for salads. Wedge salad was close to being frozen & Steak was mediocre, Brussels sprouts were tasty but not cooked enough. Not impressed.
