Much anticipated this year since the rains kept Indians from coming out on Mardigras. Each tribe "comes out" from their bars... homes... museums... from way way uptown to hit the streets in "battle" in central city. Lots of drumming. Big chiefs queens spy boys flag boy wildman... truly one of the treasured cultural moments of Indian Culture. If you go to this? Be respectful. Indians spent thousands of dollars and hours sewing suits.
