One of the best bars in the uptown area and dare I say New Orleans, low key and far enough away from colleges that would prevent a large crowd from coming in. Bartenders are superb and make some of the best cocktails around.

On a mission to return to the places that I loved when I first moved to New Orleans over 11 years ago, I landed on St. Joe's a couple times this summer. Once the closest bar to my home, I now live on the opposite end of town, yet I'm compelled to make a stop here whenever we're having an Uptown night.Especially on a Friday late afternoon/early evening because the bartender is a really cool lady and I've seen her masterfully handle a HH crowd. We were also in a slow summer evening it was fun chatting with her. They have a perfectly cold and bubbly Prosecco, which is really all I need but should I ever been in the mood for a blueberry mojito, they are legendary here.I also appreciate the back bar area although the last couple times it was a zillion degrees and sitting in an open air courtyard wasn't happening for us. It's incredibly nice out there when the weather is less brutal. In the meantime, I'm perfectly happy inside where it's a perpetual Sunday mass. Gotta love a perverted Catholic vibe, if you're anything like Yours, Truly.

I've been wanting to check this place out for YEARS. Finally went with a few coworkers after an event. This is my type of bar. Nice enough not to be pretentious but a lot of old features to feel like a good neighborhood spot. I love that they have a pool table, internet jukebox, and an outdoor space. The decor on the patio feels a lot different than the inside of the bar. I loved the bohemian feel of the patio space. The blueberry mojito tasted very fresh and light. Even the bathroom had cute, artsy wall detailing. This is my kind of spot. Looking forward to the next visit.

St. Joes is BACK OPEN AGAIN! It re-opened after being closed for Covid and then closed again for quite a long time. A couple of weeks ago, it reopened from Wednesday-Sunday starting at 4pm (check Google or their Instagram for their most updated hours). So happy!! Blueberry mojitos are as refreshing as ever and they still have Guinness on draft. Love this place so much! A true neighborhood gem.

CoolTruly a unique place! Great decor, knowledgable service, great part of town that should be visited more often! MUST TRY- blueberry mojitos. I get these everytime I pass by, yes, even when I'm making a quick run to Whole Foods. Beware, the bathrooms are TINY at this place, but that's just part of the dive-y fun. Thanks

This bar is in my top five list. They are known for their mojitos and is probably one of the first craft cocktail bars in the city before craft cocktail bars were popular. You walk in and it is a hole in the wall, but keep going till you reach the back patio. The ambience is great and filled with religious decor everywhere. It is fitting for a New Orleans bar. The service here is always great. They do not have food, but you are on Magazine Street, come here for a fresh mojito or two after dinner.

Sooo... I've been wanting to try the mojito here for sometime now. I'm always reading about how good they are. Well. I finally go here today and order the "famous blueberry mojito" and it was disappointing! It literally tasted like a soda with a hint of blueberry. I've made better. I won't returning.

I bartender in the area. Came in for the first time in a month or so to be told I'm banned. The reason according to the bartender is cause i had a heart attack after work while there (on my second beer) and an ambulance had to be called. I had been in after that and not had any issues so i wasnt expecting me and my coworkers to be turned away. So please guys don't have a medical emergency there.

If your want a great blueberry mojito, St Joe's is your place. Cool back courtyard. Tiniest one woman bathroom in America. Not a fancy place, just great drinks at a long wood bar.
