Tour guide picks you up at your hotel and returns you to the same point, in an air conditioned bus. The tour is approximately 3 hours, including three stops from 10-20 minutes each. Joseph, our tour guide grew up in NOLA and knew its history, folklore, and humor. He did a great job giving a comprehensive overview of the city by covering the French Quarter, hurricane Katrina, universities, Garden district, downtown, its nicknames, landmarks and so much more!

I would not recommend this tour. Honestly this is not who I wanted to tour with but the hotel I stayed at "highly recommend " Southern Style Tours after my original scheduled tour cancelled on me twice because they didn't have enough people. August is not considered tourist season in NO.Our driver Bob was very kind, however he is a story teller and telling a story outside in almost 100 degree weather at a cemetery for almost 30 minutes is unacceptable. On top of that he closed the bus while giving his 30 minute tour of the cemetery. An elderly lady literally had to sit on a tombstone while someone with her went and get water at the gas station up the street. Me personally, I stood under a tree talking to a nice lady that sells homemade pralines outside the cemetery. I watched two tour busses come and go within 10 minutes. To make matters worse the check engine light was on and the AC wasn't working properly, nor was his microphone. The whole tour was a hot mess. I've been on a different tours here in New Orleans so I had something to compare it to, this was a strong no for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour! The three hours seemed to fly by with our tour guide Joseph having something informative and entertaining at every stop and seemingly every where we drove by. My first visit to New Orleans was made extra special by this tour. Now I am sure that I will be back to see more, hear more, and taste more of the city than this trip allowed.

Home tour is amazing! Skip cafe du Monde at the river and opt for this tour. A great peak at all the homes and a pit stop around NOMA.

Went on the Louisiana City TourThings I loved: -Only 3 hours so you don't lose the entire day- picked up from my hotel-air conditioned bus (a must in New Orleans)-knowledgeable tour guide -cemetery stopThings that I guess depend on your preference-Spent most of the time on the bus. A little hard to get photos. Consider doing this at the start of your trip so you know where you'd like to go spend time- Only three opportunities to get out the bus-the driver kept shushing people. If you require a super silent tour, you'll love that part. Me...mehOverall a nice tour especially for the price

Nice informative tour. Drove to the major of attractions you shoulder in NOLA. loved that we got to stop and see home that as destroyed by Katrina. It is more of a museum . They only issue was the Ac not working at full capacity but it was another 90 plus day
