Food was excellent. Surprisingly, it wasn't very busy so it was very quiet. Waiter was very friendly. The bar, was very slow. Had regular drinks and appetizers before the drinks came out. Boiled shrimp, gumbo, bisque, ribeye, and redfish Orleans was excellent. My wife really enjoyed the bread pudding as well.

Starting with the good, the raw oysters were probably some of the best I have had around here in a long time - they were sizeable and shucked fairly well with minimal shell. We were told there is a new shucker, so it was taking a little longer than usual, but that was no big deal for us. The wine, once we found one they had in stock, was pretty good. We chose a sav blanc, and it was not bad. (The first two we wanted were not available.)I arrived during shift change, so the new hostess didn't realize my party was already seated. I asked if we could sit by a window because it was a gorgeous day outside. She seemed out of sorts and said she had a booth by the bar and that was it...which was in a fairly dark corner. I accepted thinking it was a staffing issue. I noticed my friends were seated across the restaurant, so I told the hostess and she seemed a little annoyed. I hadn't touched anything, so I wasn't worried about it because as I walked across the restaurant, there were about 6 tables with windows available. I blame this on the shift change and maybe she hadn't been told of the open tables. As soon as I joined my table, she was sitting another table by the window... soooo, I don't know quite why my request was just ignored. Our server was absolutely precious. She seemed to be having "a day" and was slightly frazzled at times, but was kind and was doing her best to keep us happy. As previously stated, they were out of our first two wine choices. She made it a point to double check that, but for a Friday evening, that may not bode well if they were to get busier. She did her best, and the main thing that I remember about her is her kindness and positive attitude, so that's a win. I'll give it another shot, I'm sure. Their happy hour specials for drinks and oysters are certainly worth checking out. Their mixed drinks looked really good as well. Service could be better.

I had the pleasure of attending a special event here and I was very pleased when I left. We were able to sample a selection of their best offerings. The steak was perfectly cooked but the chicken held its own against it. The crab bisque was full of meat and soooo good. And that bread budding... Friendly staff with a somewhat intimate but casual setting. Great for a meeting with friends or for a date.

I decided to get a table for 6 with a group of friends to catch up and talk about our crazy weekend , we always pass this spot and have been wanting to give it a try. We walk up to the door being opened for us by one of the workers (owners possibly) making us feel very special. Where we sat the tv was on full noise level and one of the staff grabs the remote and says this is way too loud let me turn it down. Before we could even say anything! They wanted us to be as comfortable as possible. We order drinks for the table. Nothing disappointed. We ordered oysters (Orleans) (regular) royal red shrimp , bisque , Almadine chicken, salads , fish. Nothing disappointing. Everything was good! The only thing that was off was that we were one of the only tables in there . Very quiet and not the ambiance we were used too. It was a Sunday . I would only say that the shrimp seemed a little overpriced but can't complain about taste or service. Will likely return

The Royal Reds are absolutely incredible. I have to get them any time I go. However, I have never had a bad dish. The royal redfish is awesome and last night they had grouper which was prepared absolutely wonderfully!

Delicious food, great staff and the ambiance is amazing. I've been to every half shell oyster restaurant from Louisiana to Alabama and this one is my favorite! I will be back soon.

Nice date spot. Romantic inside. We went around 6 on a Saturday. The restaurant was practically empty. Our waiter was a nice, talkative, guy. He was knowledgeable and told us about popular menu items. We prefer our oysters chargrilled with cheese, bacon and jalapeño. That wasn't really an option but our server said they could probably do cheese and bacon. They were just okay. We'll stick with The Chimes and Parrains for Oysters. We tried a few appetizers. The fried crab claws, voodoo wings and voodoo shrimp. I didn't care for the voodoo shrimp but the other two were delicious.

3.Very nice place and beautiful ambiance. Jonathon was super nice. We came for my sister's 23rd birthday. We were seated immediately . We had the oyster sampler, Grilled Pineapple Jalepeno Margarita and Pink Pearl . The Pink Pearl was sweet and tasted like strawberry lemonade, the margarita was not for my particular palette. It did not take long for any of the food to come out. For dinner we had the shrimp poboy w/ fried okra and filet w/broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes. Steak was good with the sauce but was a little bland with out , broccoli was perfect , mashed potatoes were okay for the consistency . Shrimp poboy was good and okra was okay just needed a bit of seasoning . Im honestly surprised this placed was not packed with people. Overall very nice !

The food was tasty but the to-go portions were very small. I ordered a bowl of red-beans and rice. The rice was loosely packed in a condiment cup and the "bowl" of red beans looked more like a cup. Hardly worth the $15 I paid (after tax). Sorry Southern Pearl, you are usually much better than this.

For starters, we had Oysters Orleans, Charbroiled Oysters, and Voodoo wings, they were all perfect. My husband said they are the best oysters he's ever had. 10/10 For our drinks we had the Mango Sunset Martini, The Pink Pearl Martini, and Jucifer IPA, all 10/10. For our main courses we had the red fish, chicken Alfredo, and filet. Everything was perfect. For our sides we had gumbo, asparagus, loaded mashed potatoes, and our favorite sweet potato créeme brûlée. We've never like sweet potatoes so much. Our service was amazing, very attentive and wholesome. The overall ambiance of the space was fancy, and relaxed. We will be back again, visiting from California.
