What a selection! Great location, acceptable prices. You have the choice to have the staff help you find something or they will let you look on your own.

Awesome spot to source a costume for any event. What makes Southern Costume different than the other costume stores in town, is that most of what you need can be rented instead of purchased. Granted there are times you want to own, but for the times you just want a movie-quality costume for a few days, this is the best option I've found. Excellent customer service and fair prices, in a clean, well organized space, too. I'll be a regular!

As a visitor, we didn't get what we needed but the staff was super helpful. Rentals only here so keep moving if you need to buy a costume.

Amazing place. Almost overwhelming in the options that are available. All the staff we met were great! Everyone was personable and willing to talk about different rental options from Mardi Gras royalty, Halloween, cosplay, cons, etc. they have some retail stuff to sale but mostly this is rental.

What an amazing place 9,000 square feet of the twilight zone. Costumes for rent . Open to the public, tv, film and theater. Everything from cavemen, witches, firemen, police officers, Roman soldiers, disco queen, pick any year 40's 50's etc. they have it. I had a fun time looking. They also had costumes at a discounted price and everyone we encountered were happy and very helpful. Thanks

Awesome place to go for all of your costumes, no mater what the occasion. I have rented three different costumes from them and my husband had Souther Costume custom make a pink gorilla suit for purchase at an exceptional price. You can rent anything from a small headdress to a gigantic alien costume and everything in between. Their rentals can also be tailored if needed, just leave enough time for them to do so as they can certainly get slammed around Mardi Gras and Halloween. Think you have an idea of what you want? Just go over to the front desk, ask for some help from one of the absolutely lovely people that work here and you will soon have mountains of thing to try on. Have no idea what sort of costume you are looking for? Just browse around in their warehouse of goodies and get inspired. Last time I went, we thought we were going for an old school Venetian Mardi Gras look.... After finding so much crazy looking shit and having too much fun, we came out with these kooky ass Pharos-from-space outfits that Micah helped us put together. We never looked more fabulous!

Fabulous. The only place you need to go for costumes. Southern has a HUGE inventory of high-quality costumes and will do fittings and alterations. Rental prices are surprisingly low! I was also impressed to learn that they do lots of original designs- Micah helped us put together beautiful vintage-Mardi Gras inspired costumes. An outstanding experience in every aspect!
