Sadly to say, almost every time I come here, this Sephora never has what I need. The only reason why I'm giving a higher star than what I was going to give is because of the sweet worker that works there. She's so nice and always willing to help me every time she sees me. If anything I just go into this Sephora just to say hi to her and go right backOut.

Okay, so I don't even know if you can really consider this a Sephora. This is like the MAC store at Dillard's- it's a much smaller version, and while you will be able to find a few things you like, you need to go elsewhere to get the full experience.I was here looking for some foundation- it seems that I always have to switch up my foundations because my skin gets irritated. The girl working here was helpful, but she wasn't successful in finding a foundation that matched my skin tone to my satisfaction. They offer other makeup things here, but if you are looking for a big selection, you'll be better off going to the big store at Lakeside.

They look at you before they ask. One girl was so nice but the others are disappointed. Sephora in Lakeside Mall way much better.

I always forget this location is in Oakwood Mall. I never come in through the mall at the JC Penny's entrance or shop in there for that matter. This place proved to be helpful today though. I purchased a ton of stuff at Sephora in Lakeside mall a while back and needed to return some things after buyers remorse kicked in. The employee working the counter graciously issued me a refund while we discussed using a setting spray on your makeup brushes to get a good application of your eye shadows. Trust me ladies it works! This location although smaller than the on in Lakeside Mall has everything you need...perfumes and all the makeup fixings (NARS, Urban Decay, Smashbox, Anastasia Beverly Hills, etc etc.).

The girls at this location need a serious customer service seminar/workshop. I was in this very tiny location for half an hour before any of them approached me to see if I needed help. It was a busy Saturday so I understand not being helped right away, but I was not even greeted until I was about to leave. At that point the only help I needed was directions to the MAC cosmetics counter so I could give my money to a business that actually cares about their customers. Get it together Sephora!

When I had a bad experience in Sephora in Galleria Mall in Dallas, I thought it was that store. Yesterday I realized that it's the culture of this company. They do not insist that their employees treat customers with respect. The customer is an imposition for them. Yesterday, I went to Sephora in jcp in Oakwood Mall in Nola. I asked the employee to help me with the Anastasia brow pencils. She seemed to be the only one working, so when she left me in the chair to help other customers check out, I was ok with waiting. But at least 5 minutes after all the other costumers had left she still hadn't come back, so I went looking for her. I found her in an aisle in the back of the store hiding and having a personal phone call! When I said I'd have to come back because I couldn't wait, she seemed relieved to be getting rid of me. So, I walked over to Ulta where I bought the brow pencil and much more and where the employee was very happy to help me. I've gotta ask myself why I keep going to Sephora. There's no reason... you can get all your beauty needs meet at Ulta.

This location is a convenient one for me to stop at between westbank-nola runs. It gets three stars for convenience and a decent selection. It also gets three stars because when I've asked for help, I've gotten it and the women I've gotten it from have been friendly and helpful enough. My general Sephora method, since I have kiddos, is to buy a thing, get my samples, and split. I order most of my stuff online, and don't really get makeovers or consultations on the reg. Here's the thing, I love the Sephoras in JC Penney. They're my favorite, because they're tiny, the employees almost always seem happy and like they get along (that good energy is so important to me, otherwise I'm super uncomfortable), they offer help when it's appropriate, but aren't pushy, and I always end up asking for more consultations and help than I would otherwise. The girls at THIS JCP Sephora seem...distracted. They are nice, but they don't seem happy in t. Yeah, there are lots of products missing from the try-on area, I've had the wrong sample put in my bag once, but I don't feel like it's incompetence; I feel like something is going on that's distracting to them.I really do love that I can just veer off the expressway for a little NARS fix. Can't complain about that part.

So my cousin and I went in to look at the fenty beauty collection and this lady was very rude. She thought we trying to steal and was treating us like we were suspicious. Do not ever shop at this location ever again. They have the worst customer service ever. She didn't even greet us upon entering but she was staring at us suspiciously. I felt very uncomfortable and could not enjoy looking at the products. I decided to go somewhere else to buy the products. Worst sephora ever.
