We used to visit this brewery several times a week but it has fallen off of our radar due to the amount of kids and the apparent lack of adult supervision. We were in the neighborhood this evening and attempted to give it a shot. We didn't not even get out of the car. Kids running in the street, along the greenway and the patio. If you're looking to take your kids on a drinking adventure this is the place for you. If you're looking to relax and drink a few beers and half a laid back experience this is not the place for it.

The bartenders were very friendly. I liked that you could sample the beers if you weren't sure what you wanted. We settled on the Rose sour beer and the Grapefruit Radler. Both were very good! I would definitely return.

I'm not going to change the overall review, because the staff of Second Line is still top notch. I do want to add a message to my mid city neighbors, though. A brewery is not and should not be a day care. When I began as a regular a year ago it was innocent enough. The regular family would come in once a week to unwind, have a beer or two, stay an hour or two, play with their kids (stay engaged with them) out in the open areas by the train tracks, it was cute. A year later, you guys are developing quite the habit. Any night I go there, there are several of the same families already there. The adults are gathered at their own large table with glasses everywhere, you're visibly intoxicated, and a dozen children are running table to table causing havoc, with no oversight, climbing and jumping on tables (just being kids, but INSIDE THE PLACE, which is a RESTAURANT). You've lost sight of the fact this is a restaurant. It has become concerning. You're asking bar patrons to babysit your kids every afternoon. At a bar. With beer. Where we're there to drink. And become intoxicated. And forget about things like responsibility and children. Do better, mid city.

We had a ton of fun hanging out on their patio trying all the beers with multiple flights. Very cool space. Dog and kid friendly. They also have a cooler filled with beers you can purchase to go AND some non alcoholic beverages like cokes and water bottles for sale. Nice touch tbh. They have tables inside, picnic tables outside, covered and uncovered, they have seating for whatever mood you're in!The staff is really nice and they know their stuff. They will very kindly offer recommendations. They don't have a kitchen but they do often have food trucks there. Great almost hidden gem in MidCity.

I was given the responsibility of throwing a party for several teachers and volunteers that support them in New Orleans. I spoke with Ashley to set up this party who was a pleasure to work with. She explained everything clearly and the service was top notch. The day of the event I arrived 30-minutes ahead of time. On site I had the wonderful Erica and Josh helping me. We ended up having a wonderful turnout of teachers and volunteers. The venue itself lends itself to conversation and relaxing. I had the opportunity to taste several different beers too. Second Line has great brews, a great atmosphere, and great service.I'm always happy to work with organizations that invest in their communities. Second Line definitely does and I'll be happy to throw an event here again.

Enjoyed the chill atmosphere and ambiance. Open space with lots of different areas which can cater to what your party is looking for in terms of hanging out. The beer is really yummy as well.

Good little brewery in NOLA. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was a good amount of people drinking beer and watching the NFL playoff game in the beer garden. My friends and I were on a mini brewery tour of NOLA so I got a flight. Good selection of different types of beer. All were very good. My favorite was the Juicy IPA (Nectaron Collider). Service was very quick and the bartender was knowledgeable about the beer. Let my friends try a few samples before they ordered a pint. They had a food truck on site if you needed a bite to eat.

Very family friendly and a great atmosphere! Bartenders are super nice and have very quick service! The pop-ups were also delicious!! I definitely recommend, there's also a bounce castle on the weekends! They even have a little indoor area that's great for the kiddos! Plus the tracks have a great grassy area perfect for games like tag and soccer! My favorite beer was definitely the vacation juice.

We used to go here to relax and unwind. Now this place is like a Chuck E. Cheese with alcohol. 4 legged friends, ok. But infants, toddlers, young kids should not be here. It's a BAR people. One guy asked his kid which beer he should get. Seriously, are you setting these kids up to be alcoholics and participate in underage drinking? There is a bouncy house with screaming and yelling. Kids bouncing balls in the courtyard knocking over drinks. Not a good place to relax. Did I mention that they get in their cars and drive drunk with children in tow? We walk or cycle here. But not anymore.
