Seaworthy isn't just a restaurant; it's an aesthetic. The vibe is dark, nautical chic with just enough mood lighting to make everyone look 15% hotter. Come for the oysters, stay for the lobster roll, and leave wondering if you can pull off a captain's hat without looking like a tourist.Check out my IG page for more on Seaworthy at @average_people_eating

I stumbled into this spot (which is kind of hidden) thanks to the recommendation from a friend. I sat at the bar and had rose, charred oysters and the Cesar salad. The charred oysters were phenomenal. The meal was a good size with the salad. Initially the salad looks enormous, but it's just leafy and paired with the rose and oysters, it just was a good meal. It's pretty dark inside, so do keep that in mind. Sitting at the bar does allow you to chat with the bartenders and servers, which I always enjoy. I was seated near the kitchen and it was just a bit odd.

Had an amazing dinner here! I was with a large group so we were able to try multiple dishes: Parker House Rolls, Shishito Peppers, Hot Fish Dip, Charbroiled Oysters, Seared Octopus, and a variety of raw oysters. Their desserts were amazing too!Service was great, especially accommodating for our large party.

Happy hour was the best and the espresso martini was perfect. The restaurant had east, west and gulf oysters on the happy hour menu. The restaurant was nice inside the service was good and everyone was very attentive. Didn't get to try anything on the regular menu but I bet it's just as delicious as the happy hour menu. Highly recommend this place will be back to try more.

Had a nice Xmas dinner here with my friends. The service here was very friendly. We ordered a few dozen oysters, the octopus, the lobster, the tuna tartare, Parker house rolls, fries, charbroiled oyster (we love oysters), shrimp cocktail, and many drinks and glasses of wine. The highlights were the oysters (shucked perfectly, absolutely no shell) and the Parker rolls. The shrimp cocktail was good put I believe the shrimp were precooked well in advance. While I liked both the tartare and octopus for the bold flavors that were present (the beats in the tartare had a bbq smoke to them which I liked and the octopus and a lot of sauce with it), some of my friends felt it was too aggressive. All minor issues. Lastly, while getting cocktails did take quite a bit of time to come, they were all very well made cocktails. I would definitely come back here.

Cute and cozy little wine bar with great food!!! Came here two nights during the week I was in NOLA. Tried the fresh oysters, charbroiled oysters, crab salad, and lobster roll. I will say the food is generally on the smaller portion side.. especially for the south. But I loved all the dishes I tried so I would still recommend.

Cute vibe and open late! They are a little pricy but I always enjoy! The charbroiled oysters are just okay and don't come with any bread. The lobster roll is delicious and I love the spicy chile ketchup. Their espresso martini is made with rum and banana liquor which is different but it was so good

We had such an amazing experience at Seaworthy. From the moment you enter the building you enter a low lit raw bar & dining area decorated with gorgeous candles. You MUST order the broiled oysters (these were a hit) salty, cheesy & they melt in your mouth. The rolls were a hit as well. Something unique we tried was the coffee cured Cobia, which had a strong scent of coffee and was so tender (raw dish). The team was very hospitable and made sure to give us their best recommendations during our visit.

we were looking for a new restaurant and had heard good things about this restaurant so decided to check it out. It's connected to the Ace Hotel and it's a small narrow restaurant. we started off with the parker house rolls and the fish dip. the rolls were good but a bit salty while the dip was good and had plenty of lavash crackers. for main we got the salad - which was not great; the crawfish roll that came with fries - it was supposed to be lobster but that's only in season and the roll would've been better with lobster but the fries were good; fish and chips - good portion size and fries were good but fish could've had a bit more flavor; and finally the fish sandwich which was more like a banh mi - again good portion size and good fries but lacking in flavor.overall the food was good in portion size and some items were better that others but generally there was a lack of flavor. the ambiance was decent, the place was a bit small and narrow and service was decent but a bit overwhelmed

We ate mostly first before I could snap a pic. The assortment of oysters is incredible. Theres around 30 of them and they mark off which ones are in stock. We got the large Alabama ones. They were delicious. The ambiance of the place is cool. It gives an old pirate ship vibe. I also got a dirty martini which was small but delicious.
