I brought my boat in for the 1999 Johnson 200 HP Ocean Pro outboard motor to be repainted. The orginal color of the motor is Johnson gray. I got a quote for 1500.00 for the job. When I went to pick the boat up, the outboard motor was paint white. No one told me they were going to change the color, nor did I request it to be painted white. Now I didn't say anything to them about this because when I was shopping for this boat, 1999 Seaswirl Striper 21 ft walk-around, the motors were white, which I really liked better than the gray, but at the time I was ready to purchase, the motors were changed to gray color. That was why I didn't say anything to them about it; but I felt this was not handled properly for changing the color unauthorized by me. The paint job finish was really good, however, with the exception of some shoddy cleanup work after they painted it: namely some masking tape left stuck to the interior of the boat where they masked it off for overspray, and tape left on a lower unit bolt, and worse, tape left on one of the lower unit intake ports. You can understand what would have happened if I didn't catch the latter- engine overheating! It took me a good while to remove the stuck on tape from the boat's interior area. I also wasn't too pleased with the tape job on the motor cover's black gasket, which I had to clean the white paint off of. As far as the motor decals, I chose to buy and put them on myself. Another frightening thing that would have been a serious catastrophy is that they removed the screw-in drain plug in the rear of the haul and didn't tell me. I never remove this plug as the boat is self-bailing as well as having an automatic bilge pump below the upper deck. Fortunately I happened to find that plug laying in the transom backwash tray. I was disappointed about the job as a whole, given all the good reviews that prompted me to take it here.

While most of the pontoon rental information can be found on thier website there was other information that wasn't explained until the day of the rental. It wasn't explained that a 500 deposit would be put on a credit card. The young lady handling the rental explained that only half the cost of the pontoon rental (295$) would be put on hold. It wasn't explained that the rental wouldn't include gas use. For obvious first timers this should have been initially disclosed. No reminders that pontoon rental was coming up. No reassurance that after a lake ban had been issued not allowing folks to get into the lake that it was ok to be on a boat. No communication or reassurances. I had to ask all the questions and keep calling back about the lake algae bloom and no copies of the paper work we had to sign. Recommend going somewhere else as we should do next time.

This is one of the few places in the immediate area to get live bait shrimp and that's the primary business I've engaged in with this establishment. They also offer dry dock storage, cleaning services, maintenance services and all sorts of other things related to keeping your boat in good working condition. The ship store is where you get live bait shrimp and it also offers fishing tackle and accessories along with the important things like snacks, ice, drinks and beer.

I had my sailboat hauled out for painting and some hull work. These guys were on it! Very professional paint job and the work was first class. Best part was when I got the bill - reverse sticker shock! A fantastic deal with fantastic quality. I won't take my boat anywhere else.

Ladies and Gentleman, fellow boat owners. Please read this and beware. I contracted with Saebrook Harbor Marina to repair my outdrive March 26. 22. I was promised electricity and had to pay over $400.00 to pay an electrician to give me a fan. Again I was promised electricity by David one of the owners. He never made an attempt to help me. It is now 2 1/2 months later and my outdrive is not complete. I have contacted five boat mechanics and repair facilities and they all said this is a 6 to 7 hour job. As of yesterday it was still not done and I started requesting my bill to depart their facilities one week ago to no avail. I had to pay an attorney to serve them with a demand letter to release my boat, and home. Remember this boat is my home. This finally got to them and they started threatening me in many ways one being we are going to put your f#@**ing boat in the water and let it sink. This threat was made 5 times by David and Jeffery the owners. What does tell you? Yes there are two sides to every story but I have been a perfect example of a perfect customer living in 113 degree heat with no recognition. If anyone has any questions go to the workers and ask them about how I was treated. Now I have to sue them for charges I was made to pay to get out of Seabrook to a new facility that is now finishing the mess they made. They stacked ridiculous charges that I was forced to pay to leave. I highly recommend checking out this very suspect company before you check out other options in the New Orleans area. I made one of the worst decisions in my life getting involved with this company and it is costing me in health and finances. I will post updates.

This place is great. I don't have a boat but I rented one from them. The staff where very nice and helpful. The pontoon boat was new and clean. Best day on the water I've ever had, I could not believe I was in New Orleans, the lake was so nice! If I had a boat I would definitely keep it there. Totally recommend SeaBrook!!!

Nice storage and facilities, but awful hours. They do not open until 7:00am. That is just way too late for serious fishermen. They could at least open up early and sell bait early on the weekend.
