Great place to catch a bite. Wonderful atmosphere and great service. I opted for a different option than the traditional dishes the place is known for. I went with fried green tomatoes. It was a different take on the dish. The tomatoes had remoulade sauce drizzled on top and it was over a bed of green with grilled shrimp. It was so very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. There were several people around with delicious looking margaritas that I could not have (lunch break). But note to self, I will return after hours or on the weekend to partake. I have to see what all the fuss is all about.

Simply one of the best restaurants we've been to in New Orleans. The food is excellent and their drinks are to die for. Service is superior and their ambiance and decor reflect the atmosphere of what a Mexican restaurant should be. The menu is chocked full of specialties that separate it from the competition. Put this spot on your bucket list.

I've been eating at Santa Fe for about 10 years. I used to come here with my ex for a bottle of wine late at night, and the owners knew us and would cater to us. It was pretty divine. After I realized what an asshole that ex was and we broke up, I had to avoid the restaurant for a while. When I resumed my visits, I was glad to be back. The food is good depending on the dish. I have had a few average meals. I love sitting outdoors when the weather permits. On weekends, they often have live jazz outside. My only suggestion for improvement would be to hire friendlier servers. Another consistent over 10 years has been the rude, frazzled, and impatient servers. Not all - but I came across at least one per year. Maybe their shifts are too long or they are underpaid? Or maybe they just have a bad attitude.

Everything about this place. Food is good, staff is attentive and the overall vibe of the place. Not to mention, the margaritas are awesome!

This place has been a favorite of mine since they opened at this location. My wife and I live over an hour away, but still try to come here as much as possible. The chips, salsa and guacamole is top notch I think is the best around. My wife always orders the empanadas, but I always tend to get something different. I ordered the Santa Fe combo last night and enjoyed every item on the plate. Their top shelf margarita is dangerously good. And last but definitely not least...the Tres leches which is the best version I have ever tasted. It have ordered it over 100 times and it always taste the exact same. We really enjoy sitting outdoors.

YUM. came for brunch. $1 mimosas ($2 double mimosas) and $3 bloody Mary's. Literally cannot beat that. And the food was yummy!!! Came out quick. The place was so cute. Lots of outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Great location near the fairgrounds.

Hard to find Mexican food in NOLA. This place satisfied the craving. Nothing compared to Los Angeles Mexican food but worth trying. Tuna tartare was so refreshing and delicious.

From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The staff here truly cares about their guests. They were attentive, courteous, and polite. They made us feel like VIPs. Who could ask for more?

Love Santa Fe! Cool location and their food/brunch is one of our go tos in the city. Great selection, love the ambiance/location and service is always friendly and fun!

Have only been here for happy hours, and it's great for that! They give you chips and salsa right off the bat which you can't say no too. And there other small plates are perfect for sharing over drinks.
