San Lorenzo at Hotel Saint Vincent

San Lorenzo feels like a stylish Italian summer escape--vintage tiles, velvet banquettes, and effortlessly cool vibes. It's coastal-meets-NOLA chic. Come for the pasta, stay for the swagger.The oysters? Fresh and briny. The Birds of Paradise cocktail? A tropical dream. The Linguine Vongole is garlicky perfection, while the Pomodoro keeps it classic. Sammie's Caesar is crisp and punchy, and the Italian Margarita goes down way too easy.And the Tiramisu for Two? So good you won't want to share.

We returned for a repeat COOLINARY meal after the first one was so terrific. Opted for second choice of all FOUR COURSES on menu. Grilled oysters were superb, Linguine Vongole was excellent and generous, grilled shrimp had the flair of the best bbq shrimp in city, and the mandarin sorbet was a tangy, cool finish. This later seating allowed us to experience the warm, inviting ambience of this venue, from the delicate votives on the tables to the subtle music selections. San Lorenzo is the perfect choice for that special, romantic, or simply "treat yourself" evening. My hubby and I look forward to returning to experience the outside patio and courtyard dining area when weather cools a bit. Thanks again to Jorge for a well managed experience! This restaurant is definitely a must try! It's located in the Saint Vincent hotel and is beautiful! We hopped around the 2 bars in the hotel before dinner and it was an amazing experience! The dinner was phenomenal and I have 0 complaints. Drinks were fabulous and this place was such a nice place to go for date night! Will definitely be back here!!!

This restaurant is in a hotel off of magazine. It def feels like it's a movie set when you're sitting on an old southern style porch with big ceiling fans having drinks with friends. For apps we had the truffle fries and the zuzzhini. For entrees we had the Caesar salad which is spicy with a homemade dressing. I had the risotto with the shrimp. The risotto was a bit thin imo so more like grits. The shrimp def were well seasoned with butter garlic flavor. The lobster spaghetti was also very good as were all of the drink options we chose.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing coolinary meal at San Lorenzo. It's really romantic inside though it can get a little loud which it was when we went because the place was packed. We started with the zucchini fritti and the grilled Creole oysters which were both delicious. The zucchini was huge. For our entrees my boyfriend got the pomodoro and I got the linguini vongole. I loved both of them. It was probably the best Italian I've had in New Orleans. I would definitely go back.

This is my spot! I usually stop here after work as I'm right down the street or just anytime I want to get out w| the girls. I've not had a bad drink yet from here. Any time I go, I'm usually getting small bites-- my faves are the zucchini fritti and the shrimp cocktail, pairs well w| my drink and I'm kinda obsessed w| the zucchini fritti! Service has always been lovely, ambience as well. I love that there is an outside seating area for those pretty days in the city. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing location. Not only is the restaurant, beautiful, and in a gorgeous and quaint hotel. We ordered all of the food families style, and everything was extremely fresh and flavorful. I can't make a specific recommendation because everyone was so amazing. however, the olive oil cake was the PERFECT dessert to end the night if you're someone like me who doesn't like anything too sweet. Deeply flavorful and high quality.

We went for a girls dinner for coolinary. It's such a cute spot. The bar is especially pretty and I def plan on going back for drinks and apps. The coolinary menu was a great deal - 4 delicious courses and the service was great! Chase, our server, was very attentive and made some great wine recommendations. He even gave us a sampling of his favs to choose from. The baked oysters and shrimp were my favorites! Order extra bread for dipping if you get the vongole! My only negative was that the wines by the glass were a little pricey.

San Lorenzo was so cute and so good! I got the lobster spaghetti which came with a lot of lobster. It was buttery and so soft! Our server was so kind and helpful. We had a great time!

Food was not impressive at all - service was mediocre- not worth the money paid for appetizers, meal, dessert and wine.
