Place is truly amazing, The owner is an honest hard working man and deserves his flowers. Amazing selection of food and the glass countertops are sparkling brand new. Owner is an absolute unit. God Bless

They hit the target every time with their top quality meats. The market has a welcoming atmosphere and amazing customer service makes every visit a great experience!

The owners that owns that place is so nasty the staff in the kitchen and behind the meat counter are great!!

The food is good, there isn't much of a wait and they have a variety of selections to choose from.

Yessssss ok. l must admit I was suspect when I "found" this place on YELP; unreviewed & unvisited. But I tried it anyway, because, I'm a trier. Lol. #looksCANbedeceiving. Walking in you are reminded of most a mini-mart of sorts: cell phones, cell phone chargers, phone cards, hats, clothing, jewelry and many other items that aren't "characteristic" a meat market, but hey it's #theNOLAbaby & anything goes...I needed some fresh meat for a fundraiser & this place met the challenge. The meat was fresh looking, not dry and diseased, like I've seen in other places. Great selection. They provided the meat I need, they were open late, friendly staff, helpful & the price was right. They also seem to serve/sell hot/prepared food as well. I didn't purchase any, although I was tempted. I have passed here several times in my travels, but never stopped in, until I was in need. Good to know they're there... I'll remember this place for my next last minute FRESH FUNDRAISING MEAT NEEDS. LOL.

One of nicest stores in the area with a good selection of everything you need, great prices and an awesome personal! I definitely recommend this place

prices are EXTREMELY high! Milk is 8+ dollars-a box of Saltine crackers is $7+!!! They sell expired candy!!! They sell lotto tickets but NEVER cash them in. I think they're scamming the lottery as well. The cashier is rude as heck!!! They don't scan in items by name, every thing on the receipt says "food". They will sell liquor, tobacco, and lotto to ANYONE!! EVERYTHING is almost out of date in that store!

I had the roast beef on French bread and fries on the side!! When I tell you this was the best roast beef sandwich I have had in a very long time!!! It was made just right, it was so good I had to call the cook and tell her it was the best I've had in a very long time!!! I really fully joyed it and ate the whole thing!!'

Rude lady on the phone got hostile and disrespectful because I asked for the poboy togo. Hung up in my face and all no way this is real. Only reason I come back is the prices.
