Salt and Light Asian Cuisine

I'm sorry, but I just can't get into it. It's not bad...but it's not great either. The price point doesn't reflect this. Probably more geared toward the rolls and hibachi types, not much here for someone wanting a "new experience".Miso soup and Crystal Salmon is not recommended. Something doesn't work with the Crystal Salmon...thinking it is the choice of the aggressively spiced eel sauce glaze or the addition of fresh jalapeños giving it a sharp, bitter taste. In this case, the salmon tasted cleanly fishy...and indicator of less-than-fresh product.The Mapo Tofu was good. Not great, but better than other local attempts.Service was attentive and pleasant! Dining room was a bit on the warm side...I left with a light sweat happening. Sorry, y'all. Support local...but I've got to go mediocre on this one.

Really good food and super generous portions! We went late on a Saturday night. They had steady business for dine in and takeout. The side of fried rice that comes with the entrees is enough for 2-3 people! The chicken and steak hibachi plate is enormous! The tempura vegetables are delicious! The only thing that kept me from giving Salt and Light a 5 were the waitresses. Our waitress came to our table telling us that she was having a bad day which in itself is not bad, but it was like she was preparing us for so-so service. She couldn't answer any of our questions about menu items and she didn't even try to ask the kitchen. She was friendly but disappeared often. It took her quite a while to come and take our order and she rarely checked on us. Then, her friends came in and got a table so she went and sat with them for a while! Also, I found it a little odd that the waitresses didn't help each other bring food to each other's tables, bus tables or help each other at all! It was kind of a "every woman for themselves" vibe!

After a long day of shopping, I wanted sushi, my friend wanted Chinese. Going back and forth we then decided on this place. Japanese, Chinese, and Thai food all in one place! Doesn't look like much when you reach the parking lot but inside is so nice and clean. We were seated right away. Everything we ordered were so basic but full of flavors! We love flavorful food! Presentations were on point too! Check the photos!

Fast and friendly service. Food was fresh and prices were reasonable. I had a TNT roll and it was delicious. Can't wait to try some of their lunch specials.

Stop eating at Hello Tokyo and start eating here. You get way more food that tastes so much better and the staff is about x1000 nicer here. They don't look pissed off and say NO when you walk in over an hour before they close. The hibachi dinner is huge.

We are frequenters at this restaurant. The food is always consistent and the sushi is very good. The owners are so kind and went above and beyond to help with a last minute holiday party order for me. They are really a great family owned restaurant in our area.

Miso soup- worst I've ever had. Tasted like water with a slight miso flavoringClear soup- best I've ever had. Will be getting it again especially if I'm sick. I think this soup would settle well even on an upset stomach.Chicken teriyaki bento- while the chicken was cooked well and the sauce good it was neither great nor bad. I will say I only had one piece of broccoli and a slice of carrot. The California roll was same as you get anywhere else and the 2 pan-fried dumplings were crispy and delicious.2 roll combo- I picked the spicy salmon roll and snowcrab roll. There was absolutely no spicy in the salmon roll but I do have a higher tolerance so maybe someone like my husband would have tasted it. I probably won't get that roll again but the other roll I will be. It's a simple roll and taste the same almost anywhere you go but I am a big crab fiend.

We had the Server name Alexus she is absolutely the BEST!! Food was fantastic but Alexus made it so much better!! She definitely deserves a raise cause she seems like the only one who does something and my food is always right with her!!

Food was good and usually love this place at lunchtime but not going back at dinner time again. Feels like they aren't sure how to accommodate for more than 3 tables. The food took an hour and we ended up having to leave unsatisfied. I hope they can figure it out because we enjoy this place.
