On a recommendation from my manicurist, I decided to take a chance on Q at Salon Vous. A little background... my stylist at Vidal Sassoon has been cutting my hair for over 15 years in New York City so when I traveled up there, I got my cuts. Not practical but when someone took shearing scissors down here in a salon, it scarred me for life. With no more trips planned to NY city I was in desperate need. I wanted someone who was familiar with my style of hair and was Q knowledgeable!!! She absolutely was!! We discussed my cut and I needed a treatment and my hair came out fabulous. I know that it can only get better the more she gets used to my style and hair. I went to work and everyone asked if I just had my color done cause everything looked so healthy and shiny. Will be back with my friends. Covid 19 update- temp taken at door, fill out contact information - sanitized between clients. Oooh...and the chair you get washed in has a lovely massager. Sooooo relaxing!! All we need is Covid 19 to quit so the beverage service can come back!

I am just in awe at how absolutely gorgeous, unique, and very "Instagram worthy" the decor is at this salon! The ambiance of this place makes you feel as if you are of royalty, and trust me, you will definitely leave the salon feeling like a beautiful, boss a*** b****! The owner, Kieu, is a sweetheart who is talented at what she does! She really takes her time with perfecting your hair, but all that time is worth the wait because you will end up what you are looking for! I got my hair cut with her and I could definitely tell the difference between getting a hair cut at another salon vs. getting it done at Salon Vous. My hair is very thick, and very often, my haircuts look very choppy. I just loved that she is able to remove my dead ends and also style and chop it to where it looks soft at the ends and less blunt! Key note: She is very honest with what is best for you because she wants to ensure that you have a smooth road to healthy hair. Also, don't expect to get an appointment right away. She has a high volume of guests, but waiting your turn is definitely worth it as I mentioned earlier! Can't wait for the next time I get my hair done!

I've been lucky to have Alis Connor as my hairstylist for years. She is professional, amazing and patient to say the least. She has a gift of making anyone in her chair feel beautiful and connected making it a very personal experience. Alis also cares about the health of your hair which is so important. We've gone from platinum blonde to chocolate brown and she takes her time to maintain the integrity of my hair. The new salon is so sleek and everyone was so nice! I went to this salon for my first haircut in 3 years due to the pandemic . I needed a style and cut desperately. My mom and daughter also wanted haircuts and she booked us one after the other. Now all 3 of us have VERY different hair. My daughters hair is thick and straight. My mom has barely any hair and it's fine and thin and stick straight. My hair is wavy, fine... she gave us all consults that addressed what we wanted and what we could handle everyday. My mom was the hardest to please- or so I thought she would be. She has NEVER been happy with a cut and I was SHOCKED when she loved her cut! Alis was very receptive in her consulting. My mom can't style her hair for physical limitations and it's fine, thin, and stick straight. Alis gave her a transformational cut. In all- we are in love with our cuts, relaxing experience, and a WONDERFUL stylist! Don't even hesitate- book ALIS CONNOR!

Wonderful salon with awesome stylists! The salon is modern, fun and nicely decorated. The staff is inviting and friendly. I'm a blonde and receive highlights and cuts and have always been satisfied - I've seen Kieu and Trang. You won't regret your decision!

Super modern and Covid-safe salon on Freret St. Alis is super talented and always does an amazing job.

The location is nice, and the staff is friendly. However, I paid over $115 for a hair cut and wash (without tip) no blow dry at the end. The hair cut was OK. Unfortunately will not be returning back.

From the first time I met Shira, I knew she was what I was looking for. My boyfriend and I made an appointment with Shira, because we needed a lot of help with our hair. My hair color was ashy that didn't suit me. It was also dry and damage with alot of breakage. My boyfriend hair was uneven with no shaping at all. Shira sat us down, examine our hair, and ask questions. Not only does she listen to your exact needs and wants, but she ensures that what you are envisioning will actually work for your hair type, face shape, and skin tone. I love that Shira is honest. She listens to what we want, but then also digs a bit deeper to determine the level of upkeep and goals. Shira went above and beyond to make sure our hair looked fabulous. The head massage during our shampoo session was pure heaven. We never felt so pampered and confident leaving a salon before. Shira chose my hair color that made me look 10 years younger and treated my hair. My hair never felt so healthy! I love the outcome so much, that I had to tell my friends and family. Also, my boyfriend haircut looks so good, that I cannot stop starring at him. She's so talented and you can feel her energy that's she's passionate and caring. We are forever loyal to her.

Got my first cut a year ago and have not changed my stylist since! I use to get my hair cut twice a year because i was uncertain and or unconfident in the stylist i have been going to. But ever since i met Amy Dang, my perspective changed. Not only my hair looks great, the quality feels amazing and the experience i recieve when i enter their salon towards me leaving is impeccable. Ever since i started coming to Salon Vous, i come like almost twice a month. Sometimes hesitant to go 3 times because i like how she styles my hair, the service and experience, and she makes me feel very comfortable coming from an introvert. That stylist Amy Dang knows her stuff.

This was a terrible experience from the beginning. I should have known from when they called to ask me to come later than my appointment time. The stylist was 2 1/2 hours late getting started on me. The stylist was rude, she promised I would be done by a certain time. I had to leave with wet hair that she "rough cut" and the color is not what I asked. A complete waste of money and personal frustration.
