Average sushi. Wasn't a fan of the Kano salad. Decent pricing. VERY friendly staff though. I'd eat here again

This is a hidden little gem in Denham Springs. Worth the 10 minute drive. My son and I picked out a booth towards the back and we were immediately taken care of. This restaurant is family owned and operated. We started with seaweed salad and soy beans. I do have to tell you that was the best salad I've had in a very long time. We ordered three rolls, I don't remember their names, but great rice and the fish was so fresh. This restaurant was very clean. The menu prices were about average with any other Japanese restaurant. Good menu selections.

Came here for lunch, and got the lunch sushi special. The combo was very well priced, and the sushi was nothing special. Very good to satisfy a craving, but not if you're looking for a sushi experience. Miso soup was giving off a questionable aroma, but tasted fine. Service was friendly and fast.

Food less than average. Service from our waitress has us never going back. It's gone down hill progressively since opening. Go to Geisha instead.

I've been going here for years! The food is delicious and the family that owns the restaurant are the sweetest. The wife remembers exactly what I want every time I go. Their fried rice is BOMB. Do yourself a favor and order the shrimp fried rice. Sushi also very good.

If I could give zero stars I would. We got takeout.. The hibachi vegetables were burned to the point they were inedible because all you could taste is char. The steak had no flavor and was like chewing rubber. My clear soup tasted like dishwater. I called the restaurant and I'm assuming the owner is who I spoke to. His response was "I can give you a $10 credit the next time you come". Um, no. I paid $80 for food that I couldn't even eat and what I could was terrible. I will not be coming back and I told him this and he says. "If you come back by I'll give you $10 back". I'm not wasting my gas to get $10 back on an $80 order that wasn't even worth $30
