Saddle Bar

I'm not a big fan of country, but I was a HUGE fan of watching my friends fall off Randy the "mechanical cock". The downstairs and upstairs bars were clean and not very full, but the music was kicking, bartenders were friendly and the vibe was fun. You have to sign a waiver to ride. The lady who operated Randy grabbed the mic and was playfully poking fun at the riders every chance she got. After watching a few tipsy people trying to ride Randy, the trip inside was worth it. In a sea of French Quarter bars, I thought Saddle Bar was worth the time. We laughed a lot and have hilarious blackmail worthy photos and videos of our friends as a keepsake!

We walked by this bar several times while exploring the French Quarter, and the $2 beers and well drinks sign finally drew us in. To say this wasn't one of the most fun bars we visited on the trip would be an understatement.There's plenty to do and enjoy here - beer pong, hook ring, jenga. Even if country music isn't your thing (it's not mine), the drink prices more than make up for it. The bartenders were friendly, and since it wasn't crowded, getting drinks was easy. They have bars both upstairs and downstairs, although the upstairs one was closed while we were there (wasn't busy so it made sense). Tip: don't miss out on taking advantage of the free photo booth upstairs!

Another fav find on our NOLA trip!!! It has 2 levels!!! Bathroom was super clean and cute! Saddle and fun chairs. They have a giant cock you can ride upstairs. You get your picture taken after if you want! Music was great and drinks were great! Little outside balcony to people watch. Bartender was super friendly!

For the country lovers! Great bar with Clean restrooms. Cheap drinks before 8 pm.

Came here after dinner with work colleagues during Mardi gras so not sure if someone had been here before or we just randomly stumbled in but the place has many fun and interactive elements like the electric bull/chicken. Friendly service and good vibes. The electric bull/chicken is obviously a big attraction and if you check in on Yelp, you can get a free pass to ride the cock!

Stopped in this side bar off bourbon street and it did not disappoint. The upstairs has a great bar area with lots of seating and a mechanical chicken (to ride if you dare)! The bartenders were great and the guy operating the chicken machine got everyone to participate and have a good time.

Great bar, fantastic (and very well priced) drinks and even better bartenders. We wondered in and so happy we did. Perfect time!

Clean, great service, cheap drinks...can't ask for much more! Would def recommend if you are looking for a drink and don't want to deal with the usual Bourbon St bars
