Russell's Quick Stop 1

Okay so this place is like a straight hole in the wall type place right? However, they have very good Fried Chicken and potentially the best Shrimp Boudain i've ever had. The Boudin was incredible. Nice snap on the outside and the inside was so creamy and flavorful. Anytime i'm in this area again I will absolutely be back in to visit the sweet old lady making all of this fantastic food.

I used to get my diesel fuel here exclusively. They were usually the cheapest for diesel fuel. You can't pay at the pump so you have to go inside and pre-pay or leave them your credit card while you fill up. But the reason why I will never give them my business again is I have twice gotten bad fuel from them. The first time my truck's WATER IN FUEL LIGHT came on so I pulled over and drained the fuel bowl. I put some Diesel Kleen in the tank and it seemed to solve the problem.But March 17 2021 I filled up there and the next day my trucks engine died on me on the highway. My mechanic said he had never seen so much crud and sludge in a fuel tank. BTW, my truck has a new fuel tank from two years ago, a new fuel pump and I change the fuel filter every 10,000 miles as recommended. So my truck isn't the problem; it's Russells. I'll never be able to have Miss Annie's gas station fried chicken and fried catfish again. SAD!

Pizza is good , the biscuits are stale in the morning . The large looks like a small , and why do pay for toppings on the pizza, says no extra charge for topping .

This is a great place to stop at when you need it. He is also a pretty good basketball coach.

The prepared food was absolutely delicious! In particular I recommend the meat pies and crawfish etouffee! You won't be disappointed. The only thing missing from this store is unsweetened tea. We'll definitely be back again!
