So I brought my Momma to New Orleans for her 65th birthday and was wanting to share with her all of things about this wonderful place that I loved, being that it was her first visit. I decided that a carriage tour would be a great way to do just that. Our tour guide Mark was extremely knowledgeable and personable. His noble mule Cole guided us safely and smoothly about the French Quarter and never missed a beat. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you!!!

Getting a personalized tour from Leslie last week was the highlight of our trip to NOLA. Leslie, our tour guide gave us a tour of the French Quarter that no other tour guides gave. She took us through historical houses and along the river. I would recommend a tour from her to anyone. Definitely the best tour guide I have ever gotten the pleasure to meet.

We had a great tour. Jonathan was amazing! Very good for children and adults alike, humorous and informative while keeping us very entertained. I have done several tours with haunted history for a more intimate tour of the french quarter historical as well as the haunting stories we all love you can't beat Royal Walking Tours.

Getting a ghost tour from Matt the human with Benson the mule leading the way was a great way to experience New Orleans at night with my 84 year old grandma... and would have been fun for any group. The mix of history and super natural including personal accounts of ghost encounters was definitely a highlight of our trip plus a great way to explore more of the French quarter than we would have by foot. Highly recommend!

Did a French Quarter tour this morning with Aileen Kelly. She was absolutely amazing. Knew a lot about the city, is an 8th generation New Orleans. Would definitely do it again if I get the chance to come back.

It was our first time in New Orleans as part of a dream vacation. In searching for things to do, particularly tours, I came across an actual LGBT walking tour...I had never seen or heard of such a thing and I had to sign up. We showed up on the day of and met our tour guide, Aileen and it only got better from there! Aileen was so professional and so kind. She was a drop in for another tour guide who couldn't make and admitted to being a little nervous as this was her first LGBT tour, that she is straight and didn't want to seem to disrespectful. To be honest, she was so amazing for the tour, that unless she told us she'd never done it before, we'd never known! We started off the tour at the Jimani club, the site of a horrible fire, in which many gay men died and proceeded throughout the quarter. While pointing out so many historic spots, Aileen was absolutely brilliant at mixing LGBT history with the more mainstream New Orleans history;the good and the bad. In doing so, one really walks away with a new perspective on how the LGBT community played a pivotal role in building New Orleans and shaping its rich history and unique cultural tapestry. We plan to go back to New Orleans again, and when we do, whatever tour Aileen is working, we're taking it!
