This is a no frills spot near Frenchmen to stop in for great drinks. The place was busy, but not packed so it was easy to move around. There was one bartender serving the whole bar and he did a fabulous job tending to everyone's needs. The music was absolutely on point and swayed the whole time I enjoyed my drink. If you're planning to visit Frenchmen, stop in!

8 Bucks for a pineapple mojito isn't not bad. Very very GOOd and smooth. It was nice and frozen and just what I needed TODAY!! Blended so well I can't taste the rum however I feel that it's in there(LOL). HAS INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SEATING AVAILABLE.

This bar is a few blocks away from the craziness of bourbon street and seemed like more natives than tourists. In fact, I think my friends and I might have been the only tourists. It is a cool place with kitschy decor and a varied drink menu. My friend really enjoyed the Parish Sips beer. I tried a sip and it was a little tart and pretty delicious. My friend wanted to stop in since I believe they use the exterior for film shots in NCIS: New Orleans. Overall, it was a small bar but a nice break from the crowds of Bourbon Street.

I love this place! It's so funky. Street parking, 2 drink tokens for the bar underneath upon check in. Amazing vibes all around. The staff are kind and so friendly when you check in, as well as when you return to the bar. I didn't leave the area, as it is within short walking distance to Frenchman. Love this place!

I'm an Uber driver and had a handful of bad experiences passing through the street trying to get through the bar's massive crowd. One experience that stands out most is when I was passing through the street, there was a Caucasian man in the street who decided to move a wagon in middle of street to prevent me from going forward. The driver ahead of me was a Caucasian guy and he got through with no interruptions. I had passengers in my vehicle and they were upset. I ask him to remove the wagon and he ignored me. Someone in the crowd decided to move the wagon. I felt the guy that caused this situation was being racial. If I had my old ways, that guy would Not be alive today !

I guess this is the type of gem people like me are glad to find. Thank you yelp! I mean seriously, it's an effing beautiful room. Jams elegant in the crapper and nails comfy and laid back. The bar staff are sociable and kind, and the clientele is diverse and entertaining!!! If only I could post the video!! And it's only Wednesday!! I'm about to go for last call and a late nite dining recommendation, let's see how it goes... the late night scene was illuminatino! Now, heading to bed at breakkfast time, with sfire guitar soft on the sonos boxI am adding that the bar staff/concierge were awesome! Chris and Jazz took time to chat with me even though the place was hoppin'! Very authentic late night scene, complete with chatty drunk street person (nice lady) and love affair drama including broken bottle in the street!! As for late night eats, Jazz directed me to Buffa's just a few bloccks away, but finding that a bit overpriced I opted instead to stroll over to Verti Mart where I found an affordable selection for a 4am food fix. I also found my way to the Clover Grill, a NOLA staple just a couple blocks from the hotel. Summing up, if you need a place to stay convenient to the Quarter and Marigny, don't waste your time looking elsewhere. This is where you'll want to be!

My lady and I rented Storyville, which has direct patio access from your room. This place completely rules. The room was recently refurbished and it looks awesome. The bedding was great and unlike many places in the area, the shower pressure was great. If you're looking for something that is not your typical hotel room or Airbnb, I highly recommend the Royal Street Inn. Know there's a bar downstairs called the R Bar. It's a super sexy bar with the requisite punks and hipsters of the area. This bar reminds me a lot of the a mini EARL (in the ATL). Super friendly crowd and the bar is open late. If you're a nancy and sensitive to noise, go elsewhere. You shouldn't be in this neighborhood anyway. But if you're down with a cool neighborhood, want easy access to Frenchman, Marigny and Bywater, this is a super rad place to stay. Our friends rented Mississippi and they loved it too. The cleaning staff were great and noninvasive. Chris, the daytime bartender, was super awesome and checked us into our room(s). He checked on us a couple times as well when he say us outside having a drink...asking about our stay, wanting to make sure we were happy.Adam is the manager of the joint and he's just great. His speed in response and hospitality is fantastic. We had zero complaints.

We stayed in the La Serena Suite in the Inn for our engagement night back in July. The bartender downstairs was very nice and respectful, brought us upstairs and was very helpful with everything. They even allowed our family to go up while we were away at dinner to decorate. We are from NOLA but if we ever needed a place to stay again I would definitely go back.
