Rosie's on the Roof at The Higgins Hotel New Orleans

Looking for a rooftop bar with a view? Look no further than Rosie's.I am a sucker for a rooftop bar/restaurant. I think this is a recent thing for me but I can't get enough. It wasn't until I started staying at the Higgin's regularly that I discovered it even had a rooftop bar. Here are my pro tips:Service - varies between great and a little slow depending on how busy they are. The view overcomes any slow service.Drinks - Hell yes. The drink selection is great but you must try the Rosie the Riveter. It is $28 but is served in an old-school Stanley thermos. They advertise this as a drink for two but if you are from New Orleans, it is a drink for one. The drink itself is refreshing and tropical. It is also potent and the thermos gives you around 4.5 rocks glasses of deliciousness. That is a bargain. Sure you could share, but why share when you can have it all to yourself?Food - Mid. I only ate here twice but both times the food was pretty mediocre. Maybe it was a fluke and I am sure I will eat here again so I may update the review. After all, I will be spending a lot of time here in the next few months.Should you visit here? Absolutely

Came here to watch the sunset at this rooftop bar next to the WW2 museum and it was so great to see in person!Ordered the beignets that were BANGING!!!!Drinks were great and service is quick and friendly!

The staff is amazing! April really makes you feel like you're at a local bar in my hometown. She's amazing, willing to mix cocktails that aren't on the menu and made a wonderful mocktail for my boyfriend to enjoy! We have gone there each night as a "night cap" and all the staff has been so wonderful!! We will see her again tonight:)

Omg how incredible! The views are the best!! The service is amazing! And the reveter rum drink is the best value for your money. It's at least 4 drinks in a giant thermos. And it is strong and mixed with rum. It's probably my second fav drink on the city. First, being hard to beat, the monsoon. Strongest rum drink in the city. Anyway, the service was incredible. The views were incredible... I know I said that. And the drinks were incredible. It's a nice relaxing place to hang out after soaking in all the rich history from the WWII museum.

Overly expensive and the service was rather aloof. We considered eating here but after one drink we decided to take ourselves elsewhere. It does offer a nice rooftop view but comes with a price. Very little to no shade so if it's summertime it's likely too hot for most people. But spring/fall/winter it's something worth considering if you are looking for a rooftop. They do have an inside bar and tables with AC and we opted to just belly up to the bar.

The service was satisfactory. While waiting for my drinks, I observed the food being served to other customers and it did not look appetizing. Although the cocktail drinks were great, I decided not to try any of the food. The rooftop bar has recently opened and provides a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend visiting the outdoor rooftop for a stunning view of the Superdome. Overall, I would consider returning.

What a wonderful location to enjoy the sunset while enjoying a favorite beverage and food.Our server was knowledgeable, and the food and cocktails were amazing. What a relaxing venue to unwind discussing the day and making plans for tomorrow.

Super cute ww2 themed bar with a beautiful rooftop! Affordable drinks and basic bar menu, but very clean and friendly service.

Ordered to go. Bartender/cashier greeted us immediately. Even though I was 6 minutes late for happy hour she let me order. I ordered smash burgers for my son. He was not liking the creole food. He ate his order and most of mine. The meat was quality and moist. The shoestrings fries were hot. We enjoyed the food and customer service. We also checked out the rooftop. Gorgeous scenery but way too cold in December to linger. Wait time was quick.
