Great spot in a great location. So many cute decor items especially New Orleans themed, for Halloween, for Christmas, and for local high schools! The staff is so friendly but not pushy. The perfect balance. I just wish they opened earlier than 10 on the weekends.

This is the cutest store ever!Ok, so it is your standard Hallmark store. They have some awesome cards. Of course they do, that is what they are known for. Duh. The stationary is also a wide selection. They have a great selection of random knick-knacks, local themed items, sports items. A special room with out of season gifts for those who love those items, and these items can not be found during the off-season. But you can find them here. On sale. Year round. Amazing. I have a friend whose birthday is in May, but she loves Halloween stuff. To say that she loves it is an understatement. So, this is the perfect place to get her gift just before her birthday, without having to buy an item and save it for 6 months before being able to give it.The staff is friendly and helpful. The walkways can be a tad on the tight spot in the knick-knack area. Some things can be a bit on the expensive side. But this is a great place to buy gifts for those who are hard to buy for.I always enjoy coming here and shopping. Of course, I am a bit biased. I grew up in a house on Hallmark Drive in a small town outside of Charlotte, NC, so as kids we would write Hallmark Dr greeting card company on the back of all the cards my siblings and I would make for birthdays or holidays. I am not sure why our street was named that, but I like to tell the story any way.

Great store with a recent expansion that offers more items (mostly candles, pet items, and seasonal displays in there). There is so much to browse that I spent a solid hour walking around. The employees are friendly and checked on me without being pushy. Eventually i accepted a basket to hold my hood. They offer great merchandise from local artists too and since they are not a Gold Crown location, they can. Only downside to that is one cannot use their Gold Crown membership there for points or to use coupons. They are a little pricy, but well worth the trip if you are looking for unique items from placards, hand towels, NOLA ornaments, and Louisiana specific items to the usual cards, guestbooks, and wrapping paper found at any Hallmark store. In the Oakridge Place Shopping Center with Rite Aid, Langensteins and PJ's Coffee.

In addtion to the standard Hallmark items, this store has lots (and lots) of local stuff, glassware, dish towels, decorative items, Saints, Pelicans, LSU, fleur di lis, you name it. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The store is spacious and full but not overwhelming. They have an anti-room with out of season gift items (in December this was Halloween & Carnival) in case you need it, plus lots of pet related gift items.Love all their seasonal door hangers, in fact I received a giant king cake for my front door as a Christmas present.

This is a great card/gift/holiday store on Metairie Road, not too far from Mid-City. They always have a very nice selection of what-nots, perfect for the most hard-to-buy-for person on your gift list. They have a huge selection of not-sports-related Saints and fleur de lis objects, like party platters, fancy glasses, dish towels, etc. They have great gifts for kids and grown-ups alike, plus a huge selection of cards and frames.

Tucked away right next to Langestein's on Metairie Rd, this Hallmark store is filled with some nice gift options, especially ones with local flavor, e.g. fleur de lis items. During Christmas it's also a great place to get the Keepsake ornaments. This Christmas to celebrate our new home and first Christmas with a tree in probably a decade my girlfriend and I picked up some stuff to decorate. While there we also found great gifts for the family gift exchange. The only downside is the way this small mall sits on Metairie Rd. There is a stop light right on one side of it but it's not lined up well and creates a bit of traffic that makes it hard to see cars coming from both directions when you pull out onto Metairie Rd. Keep that in mind when planning your errands.

I bought a pair of earrings here earlier in the month. I never wore them and decided they weren't me. So, I go to return them (still within the amount of time allowed) and the woman behind the counter (short dark hairstyle) proceeds to tell me, as I'm barely getting the words out "No. I can't do returns." I say, "It's a pair of earrings I've never worn." She says, "We don't do returns on jewelry." Okay. That's fine and good and it definitely says this on the receipt. I just missed that part. The problem was the way this particular associate treated me. There's a way to treat people and then there's a way not to. She chose the latter. She was snotty and short with me. She looked at me like I was a pain in her _______. I felt completely unwelcome. The day I purchased the earrings I had bought other things I did keep. I'll never be back. Not cool. What's so funny is I never write a review for anything, but I just can't seem to forget the way she looked at me.

My name is Patti. I went into this store today. I had just bought a coffee and didn't realize until I got to the door that I couldn't bring it in as there was a sign on the door. I thought I would ask if I could just leave it behind the counter. I had one foot in the door and the employee was waiting for me! "You can't bring bring that in." I opened my mouth but before I could say anything she started shaking her head no and repeating "no! absolutely not." She kept repeating it until I closed my mouth, even though nothing had been said by me and I definitely had not moved. I was really taken aback. I was terribly embarrassed at the way she spoke. I just turned and quietly left. I will not return. I do take responsibility for entering the store, one step, with my latte when there was a sign on the door. I shouldn't have. I also shouldn't have been spoken to like that or humiliated.

This is certainly a cute Hallmark Store. It has many more things than cards and stationary and ornaments. It is worth a visit. It carried many things for those who want to order special New Orleans decor. It is also a great store to buy monogrammed items. I like the parking and the location. It is never overwhelmingly busy. The employees are very nice and helpful.
