Ronnie's Boudin & Cracklin House 2

First and foremost, there is nothing fancy about this place. However, that being said, there is almost always a line here. The floors are a bit greasy. It's counter service only. But.....The pork and chicken cracklins are delicious. I also ordered the shrimp po boy, and all I can say is "DAMN, that was one good sandwich.Friendly staff, great food! You can't beat this place. Go try it for yourself, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Got the boudin balls, stuffed boudin balls, boudin eggrolls and pork cracklin. The boudin balls were ok. The outside wasn't crunchy though. The stuffed ones had cheese in them and were a little better than the non-stuffed ones. The boudin eggrolls were a little soggy, not crunchy. The cracklings were ok, but kinda hard

A friend recommended Ronnie's to me; Thank Goodness he did! I bought some deermeat sausage from Ronnie's and liked it so much that I went back for more!!Lots of odd but good products made there.Next I want the boudin balls!Service is busy but good!!Nice place.

Service was awesome. The sister working at the register serving up the Boudin, Cracking, and Turkey Wings awesome greeting skills. I felt welcomed.The food is overpriced!!! $17.99 for Chicken Cracklins is ridiculous! The chicken skins were crispy but the meat was dry. The flavor was a little bit on the salty side but tasted okay. I have tasted better. I tried the fried Turkey Wing. The seasoning was a sweet, salty, and touch of heat. I found that the first flavor to register on my palate was the sweet and I am not a big fan of the addition of too much sugar in a spice mix. Although I am not a diabetic myself but for those who are they might want to be aware eating the wing could affect their blood sugar.The wing sure was purity and appealing to the eye. It was fried right nice. I was going to try the Boudin Balls but uhmm, I will pass. I suspect the seasoning maybe not be balanced and I am not willing to pay the ridiculous high price to find out. Maybe I will be offered one from the co-worker who suggested this joint. If you like paying inflated prices forfood you can get anywhere in town give it a try. Otherwise, save your coins.

They are good - always ready to go- friendly service. Never a long wait. Better exist not far away from this business but they are good.

Seriously the best Boudin in Baton Rouge. Every time we go it is just absolutely delicious.

Ambiance was very easy going and quiet. Few people were there when I went. It was a nice atmosphere. I got the chicken cracklings, they were yummy! I also got the regular boudin and smoked boudin - both were good however a little too salty for my taste . A little less salt and they be superb! Probably will return to see if I just caught them on a bad day! Will update after the second visit.

it was deliciousincluding the stuffed boudin balls! The service was mid. The building was a nice homey place. Overall I recommend if you want the best boudin ever to come here.

When yall go make sure you try the pepper jack stuffed boudin with seasoned cracklings.

So I go here quite a bit. I also go to the one in Hammond. It's 5 stars GREAT. The one in Baton Rouge is spotty. Service I'd ho hum. Boudin balls are not always hot. It's night and day difference between here and Hammond
